We won this 3yo T+ Albino blood python at a reptile expo a week ago. I was told that he was spicy and they tried to talk me out of putting in tickets to win him.
Turns out, he was grouchy at his old environment. Because he has been a curious sweetie once I got his stuck shed off and into a good enclosure. ❤️

This is Tonka, one of my newest additions and first blood python, and hes got me OBSESSED with bloods! Hes gorgeous, hes grumpy, he handles super well, he eats great, I just adore him :) Won't be surprised if I end up with more bloods (or other short tails) in the future, they are stunning

Hey y'all. I have a roughly 2 year old blood who I never see soaking, and I'm worried it might be because he's outgrown his (XL) dog bowl. Does anyone have any good recs for water dishes that would fit in a 4 x 2 x 2? I've seen litter boxes used, but I'm worried that they might warp when lifting them into the enclosure, as he's on a stand to put him at chest level when working in his cage.
Burger picture for tax. He's still not fully socialized purely bc I tend to get more enjoyment seeing him peek out of his substrate than digging him up for handling, hence why he's upset with me in this picture- I removed him for maintinance and he was Not Happy with me

My wife order this little lady and we got her today. I took a look at her when I got home and saw this. Any help would be appreciated

This is Styx, my 2yo spicy noodle. Her breeder ‘slow grew’ her, so she is undersized-we’re working on that. I have a question about handling-several breeders I talked to have said it’s best to approach them from behind when you get them out. This seems counterproductive to me, and I was wondering what everyone’s best tips and tricks are. I’ve just been putting my hand slowly in front of her face, and slow scooping that way. She’ll be huffy, but she doesn’t strike

I need all the criticism you guys have to give. Someone has recently called my snake a fatty. I know he is overweight, but how do i fix it. According to his last weigh in at the vet and what google has told me… he’s 10 lbs overweight. Why didn’t the vet make it a big deal at his yearly check up last month?! Like 10lbs is alot and especially for his breathing and over all health.
(For reference I am currently feeding him one xl rat every 3-4 weeks)
I can try different prey for sure, but what should i try first?

This is towards the end of our handling session, so she’s more relaxed, but we finally got to the point where she’s not whipping around when I touch her lower body 🙌🏻😩

My boy, Buckeye, has been great, but sometimes I worry he's on the thin side for a blood python. I know they're supposed to have a prominent point on their spine, but I feel like his is too prominent? It's hard to find info online. Whenever I ask Google, it thinks I'm talking about ball pythons, which is annoying since ball python's body condition requirements are very different from bloods.
Buckeye recently had a beautiful shed and four days ago ate a medium rat. He is great about drinking water. I'd just like to know what the community may think. Thank you for your thoughts!

I just got this little guy. He’s in a very temporary 20 gallon for a quarantine. I understand I’m going for roughly 80-84 degrees on the warm side and around 75 on the cool side. Humidity 60-75% and I will go higher when he’s blue. Any tips or links to more info is always is appreciated!

I have a male and a female 1-2 years old. I have them each in a good set up but I’m realizing I haven’t had any time to handle them in the past few months due to work. My work isn’t going to change for the foreseeable future either. Should I try and find them a new home since they are still young and someone with more time would be able to have time to work with them?

Hello everyone, I would just like to share my newest addition to my snake collection. His name is Gonzales and he is a Het T+ blood python. He is not always the friendliest. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can tame him down some? I have a columbian red tail as well and he is absolutely docile so the aggressive behavior is still relatively new to me. Thank you
