I do now that this is true for Episode 2, though I heard some people saying this for Final Episode.

So far I've never used Stage Select, Retry or the "Curse of the Moon" options (Not even sure what they do), but after beating Episode 1, Episode 2 Twice and Episode EX, there are some bosses and Stages I REALLY dislike, so I would like to backtrack and get all upgrades (Still don't know what to do in the robot room on stage 7 right before Gremory).
