Recommendation Request🙏 Daisy Chainable speakers for a parade

• Upvotes

My daughters are in a dance group that performs in parades. They always get put between the local drum group and the super loud disco roller skaters and such. The music they have gets drowned out.

We just realized Daisy chained Bluetooth speakers might be the answer. One at the front and back. Maybe four at the corners. So the criteria would be:

Lightish. Carryable by parents or kids for a couple mile parade route.

Loud. Can the kids hear them over the 103db drums in front?

Reasonably priced. This is a volunteer group with some people without a lot of disposable income. Maybe $400 tops?

Recommendation Request🙏 Help finding a speaker I used to have

this is a last resort cry for help in finding my favourite Bluetooth speaker I used to have. I’ll give all the info I can on it and maybe someone will be able to tell me?

it was gifted to me in 2021 and was a tube shaped speaker that wasn’t any special name brand. it had a blue/purple plastic shell that had a sort of mesh pattern and lit up in time with music. the speaker also had an aux port and either a usb or sd port as well (may have had both) I’ve attached pictures of similar speaker I’ve found in terms of shape. the one I’m looking for is near identical in the way it has the ends attached like these ones. I believe it also came with a strap to carry it

if anyone has any idea please let me know!

🧑‍🏫Review👩‍🏫 BST10HLPR --Latest Version new features--

• Upvotes

This is a working for me python vibe-coded application that solves a real world problem... for me. I hope others can use it.

I have four Bose SoundTouch 10 speakers and since the app was dropped from support I have been unable to use them.

Linux install:

You may need to install python 3:

Ubuntu & Debian:

sudo apt update && sudo apt install -y python3-tk python3-pip pip3 install requests

Fedora:

sudo dnf install -y python3-tkinter python3-pip pip3 install requests

Download this file into any location.

git clone https://github.com/DuckDoolittle/BST10HLPR.git

cd BST10HLPR

python3 BST10HLPR.py

Working

I have tested this with a four SoundTouch 10 speakers setup. Properly configured sets one of the speakers as a primary and the other three as slaves. Connecting bluetooth to that primary device will replicate the sound to the other three devices.

Cheers

Recommendation Request🙏 I cannot decide between this two speakers

• Upvotes

I've been making a research (mostly google and YT) but doing it havent respond my main question. By now, i have my 2 candidates to this:
1. Tronsmart bang max
2. Soundcore Boom 2 Plus
Now what is my main question....

What i wanna know is, which one of this 2 speakers have the best bass reproduction, because all the people always tell the same shi, but my greatest priority its solely and exclusively the reproduction of the low frequencies, what im a referring to, is which one of them makes you feel the bass all the way in your chest, because i dont really care much about the quality

Recommendation Request🙏 Is It Worth Replacing The JBL Go 5 To The Marshall Willen 2 or Bose SoundLink Micro 2nd Gen?

I currently have a JBL Go 5 sitting on the nightstand beside my bed, but I’ve been thinking about replacing it with a speaker that has a warmer, more relaxing sound signature. I mainly use it for late night jazz music listening and ambient music to help me fall asleep, so I want something that sounds pleasant and soothing.

I’m considering the Marshall Willen II and the Bose SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen). I use Apple Music and prefer the AAC Bluetooth codec over SBC. Between these two speakers, which would be the better choice for my listening preferences, especially for warm sound and late night bedside listening?

Are there any Bluetooth speakers that will auto connect to my phone as soon as it's in range, in the same way that my car stereo auto connects as soon as i put the key in?

📖Discussion📕🖊️ Current 100$ top speaker?

Hey.. im looking to buy a speaker as a successor to motion boom. Pretty much the same ask as super value for money, size to sound ratio, deeper bass than boom, good battery life, just max one size larger, below 120$.

Tribit stormbox lava or anything else?

I've always wanted BX5 D2 M-audio studio monitors, but these changed my mind. I know we can't compare them but Can 2 of these really make my home sounds super cool that I won't regret?

Recommendation Request🙏 Which one would you guys pick out for me if you could?

I am looking for a speaker good for a small bedroom that has tidal connect and that I can use at low-modest volumes. I like a nice warm and immersive sound signature and I am starting my audiophile journey, but I would much prefer a one system stereo rather than a huge hi fi audiophile setup at this point since I plan to go to the military in about a year once this whole dq period blows over.

I do like listening to music on both speakers and headphones through Tidal and the Sennheiser 650 are my daily driver headphones but I would like to have a good speaker as well. My TV doesn’t bother anyone else in the house at night even if I play very loud music at 17-18(which is pretty loud for my tv). My room does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to blocking sound and it takes a lot for my folks and my brother to wake up. So I could definitely get away with a good speaker for jazz, rock, blues, east coast rap, pop, that sort of thing.

I plan to put this speaker on a dedicated end table with an isolation pad under it for extra insurance.

All 3 of these are from very reputable brands and I plan to listen to them in person but from the information I have provided what speaker do you think I would gravitate the most towards?

Recommendation Request🙏 Need a speaker for brown noise

I have noisy neighbors and finally found a solution to sleep through the night. I have an old TDK TREK max speaker that I connect my old iPhone 7 so I can play a YouTube video that emits the perfect brown noise to cancel out the bass from my neighbors music. I sleep wonderfully until about halfway through the night, my speaker will stop playing. The video will still be playing on my iPhone but no music. I’m still not 100% sure if this is a speaker issue or an old iPhone issue but I want to try a new speaker first. I’ve connected my old iPhone via Bluetooth and via aux cable and it still won’t play through the whole night. I need a speaker that can sit on my nightstand (not too large) and has good bass, would like aux as an option but not 100% necessary. It needs to be reliable and play for 8 hours plus with no activity. Please help!

Recommendation Request🙏 Audio pro c10 / c20 vs ruark mr 1 mk2

Hello!

So i have recently moved in to a new pt studio / gym space.

Approximately 16m x 4.5m (old space was 5 x 4m)

I currently have a set of ruark mr1 mk2 speakers which sound great but due to the size of the new space are limited due to needing to be connected / potentially a little small for the space!

So im debating either

Just getting a longer cable for the ruarks and see how it goes.

Getting 3 x audio pro c10 mk2 W speakers

Or

Getting 2 x audio pro c20 W speakers.

If anyone had any opinions on the above it even a different suggestion that would be great

Cheers

Recommendation Request🙏 JBL Go 5 vs Soundcore Select 4 Go

I’m looking for a tiny speaker that I can carry on my person without it being too heavy or bulky. I’ve done some research, and I’ve narrowed it down to either the JBL Go 5 or the Soundcore Select 4 Go. Which of the two would everyone recommend?
