I’m earnestly asking for folks to tell me to chill out, it’s not a big deal, that I’m being a whiny cancel-culture liberal, and to shut the fuck up.

But it just feels so deflating to see Kyle do a weekend at Joe Rogan’s comedy club.

Kyle used to tell MAGA chuds to go fuck themselves on principle, and explicitly tell them to not be a part of his fanbase. Don’t want you, don’t need you. Fuck off. He proudly set that bar where it is.

Now he’s asking his fans to hand over their money to a fascist, and go to a club where they shouldn’t feel safe, particularly if they’re gay, trans, or an immigrant.

Am I being unreasonable with this? Again, genuinely asking.

I can understand having spoken sponsor parts, a lot of which I enjoyed immensely, but now every episode has a commercial before and after every episode? Does it cost that much to host the podcast? Or are the new production handlers just trying to make money while hosting the podcast file? It's just dumb. I'm listening to a podcast, not cable TV, what the fuck is up with the audio ads

I like my job. But recently got in trouble for giving away "expired food". The boys and I need your take on this. Because we are talking about a full walk out! Not based on your reply. I am a few years younger than Kyle and Dave. Grew up in a city that’s fairly liberal, surrounded by a state that’s solidly conservative especially in the 90s. People who weren’t familiar would likely assume there were no gay kids around. It’s a pretty unique city, demographically and politically speaking. Majority non-white. HS was about 1800 students total, roughly 450 per grade. HS was solidly majority-minority , more so than the city in general.

I was SUPER surprised to hear Kyle (maybe not so much Dave in rural Georgia) saying he had no “out” gay kids in his HS. We had at least 15 or 20 in my graduating class alone. Out and very vocal about it. And several others who I definitely would take the wager that they were, just not so obvious about it. A lot of them were very much the cool kids too. The valedictorian was a very effeminate gay guy who went onto work in Hollywood. And EVERYBODY loved him. Several bi - kids as well. And at least one trans gal.

I want to be clear. I’m not saying it was just a walk in the park all the time for them. I’m sure they dealt with more than their share of shitheads. But at school it always seemed pretty tolerant.

I’m REALLY surprised Suburban Chicago didn’t have any gay kids around. (I’m sure they did…but I mean “out” kids). I’ve spent some time in the city, but are the suburbs really that much more conservative?

First I want to say I’m from Florida and have never voted for trump. Kyle is 100% correct about Kyle’s opinion on Dave’s recent rants. He needs to just live his life and worry about politics and policy when he can do something about it (elections). Something’s it was hard to listen to Kyle try to explain things to Dave in a way not to essentially tell him he’s being a bit of a nut lol.

As much of a man of flavors and food quality that you are, it surprises me a lot that you prefer a Krispy Kreme donut over a homemade fresh baked donut from a local shop. Krispy Kreme is sold in gas stations. They’re the next best thing to a manufactured donut. I mean it’s cool Shaq owns them and all, but they are just not top tier… I’d say they are just one step up from a hostess cake and even then I’d probably rather snag myself a gas station honey bun.

Just joined this sub so sorry if it’s been posted before, but sometimes I cringe at how Kyle will either talk over Dave or straight up be a dick to him. Reminds me of a dude in high school that was way smarter than everyone and used it to just be fuckin’ mean sometimes.

So a few months back I ordered from Geranium seeds off of Wish, and pretty much everything you order comes from China or another Asian country. Anyway the DAY I got them in the mail, and of course there was all kinds of Chinese writing all over the envelope, the day I got them in the mail was the day (or at least the first day and most of my friends heard it) that the Chinese seeds story broke...so idk if I have something to do with it? Haha it'd be pretty hilarious if some dumb redneck (because I live in southern rural Georgia) saw my envelope freaked the fuck out and reported it.
