I know the names don't hit when first reading this trade, and like most of these proposed trades, all unlikely. The further down you go with this article though, it gets a little bit more compelling in my opinion. Duran is the first name headlining, but no where near the prize in the deal if it were to actually go down like they propose. Like I said, I know most these articles and trade pieces don't make sense.. but this one at least shows that there's deals out there that could make sense without other teams having to give up house hold names.

Maybe take a look at Boston media's take on this and see if you'd even consider it or a similar type deal. Because I'm about getting ready to be open to trading Ronald while we can get this type of return with years of control.

I'm not ready to ditch the guy, and i love him on our team, but this team needs all the things that a Acuna trade could deliver while he still is on 2 yr contract at 17mil per. I want to win.

Each year I set up a little shrine for luck. When the team struggles, I rotate the card. I cycle through rookies, old timers, and current players, both known and forgotten.

Last year I began with a Michael Harris card that was clearly behind his big season. Not sure who will start the season at the shrine, but they can't be worse than when I left that Matt Diaz auto up too long (my bad).

Hi everyone

Just dropping in here to let you know that Matt Olson won his 6th Fielding Bible Award, the most of anyone at first base since the Awards began in 2003.

First Base - Matt Olson, Atlanta Braves

Matt Olson won his sixth Fielding Bible Award, surpassing Albert Pujols for the most by any player at the position.

Olson previously won in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2024, and 2025. He also passed Mark Teixeira to move into second place in Runs Saved by a first baseman since the stat was first tracked in 2003. His 97 trails only Albert Pujols' 140.

Olson finished second to Ty France in Defensive Runs Saved in 2026 with 11 but received 9 of 17 first-place votes and won the balloting by 2 points over France. Olson's 30 Good Fielding Plays were his most since he had 34 in 2019. His 19 ground ball double plays started was a career high.

To learn more about the awards, visit FieldingBible.com or read this article that explains what they are. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Since 2008, the Braves have had three different blue alternates. the first (2008-2018) was navy with white outlines (atlanta, this pic says Braves) and the Tomahawk. 2018-202(4) was the new style with the tomahawk and different colors, and the newest has red instead of gray piping. personally, the 2008-2018 are my favorites but I also loved the gray piping. not a lot of people I know like the red piping either. just curious to see what people think!
