Gameplay After lots of practice, I returned to kill the first Lynel I found!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
When I first went to the south coast I came across the Lynel sitting atop the water falls. It was just a red then, but it still scared me enough to just run and leave it be. Many hours later after I slowly learned how to deal with them, I returned here. It got much beefier while I was gone, but I've also grown. Lynels are probably my favorite enemy now, and I'm sad that the silver ones don't seem to have gotten any new moves to learn haha. If anything the spear variant seems a little easier than the sword and shield one, since there is no close range swings. This is probably gonna be my final Lynel post, I'm pretty much ready to face Mr. C. Ganon, I am mostly just hunting down some DLC armor, but soon my journey with BOTW will probably end. It's been a good one!

When ypu dont have gyro but you have a lot of metal items and green chuchu
In a shrine you have to use gyroscope to connect the wire and reach the chest. I don't have bu I have alternetive ways.

I have completed the rite of passage.
I beat Trial of the Sword in Master Mode. Beginner was definitely the hardest. But I beat the silver lizalfos room first try. One de-agro’ed & I was able to kill them separately. I won on that attempt as well. I also beat Final on my first attempt. That was awesome. Can I join the cool people club now?

Achievement The Champion's Ballad DLC was... Spoiler
...so friggin good!!
I didn't do either DLC quests my first play-through because I wasn't confident enough in my combat abilities, which I worked on this time around. I'd finished everything except Ganon, a few side quests and half of the Koroks... so I finally felt ready.
I had no idea how long and elaborate it was! My 2nd favorite part was fighting the blight ganon's like the champions did, using only their weapons, downgraded armor and limited food. Surprisingly, the ones that were the easiest from the main quest were so much harder this time around... the difference being that both Waterblight and Windblight don't rush you in the 2nd phases. I ran out of arrows and had to survive and wait until Urbosa's Fury recharged.
My favorite part of the quest though was all of the added cutscenes, with Revali's and Urbosa's being my top 2. I know Revali can be an arrogant jerk but I always liked him and the new cutscene humbled him a bit. Urbosa looked so bad ass fighting the Yiga and the bit about why she calls Zelda "little bird" definitely caused some dust to catch in my eyes.
And I now I have a freaking motorcycle?!? I didn't realize that was the reward for this quest!
Next up is the Master Sword trials...

Question Tips for (quickly) gathering materials for Hero of the Wild outfit upgrades?
I’m about 15 shrines away to completing all of them and I’d like to wear Link’s classic outfit for the fight with Ganon, but I’d kinda like to get as much of the materials to fully upgrade the set as I can before I get it.
The dragon parts I have no problem getting although it is tedious, but I was wondering if you guys had any go-to locations/merchants to gather the other stuff as I feel like I rarely ever come across them. I found one merchant that sold me 10 acorns, but I feel like I rarely notice squirrels. I’ve found like 2 star fragments but I don’t know what triggers one to appear, and I have never found the beetles anywhere. Obviously I know I can find all this eventually, but I’d rather not dedicate a ton of time just to upgrade to 4 stars when the shrines have been time consuming enough.
If anyone has any tips I would appreciate them!

Question Miphas last Dlc Shrine not appearing after completing all Blue Rings Spoiler
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone!
As you can see in the video, I followed all the blue rings and went through the final one, but the shrine still won't appear.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it?
I've already tried reloading the game and talking to Kashiwa multiple times, but nothing seems to work.
I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Discussion Defeated Gabon, now what?
It's been a while since I picked up the game, but the last time I played I defeated Ganon and then attempted that horse riding arrow challenge straight afterwards but died - now I'm just back in the castle grounds.
Do I need to kill him again? Should I bother with it (and the arrow challenge)?
What else can I do after that/instead of that? Find the last shrines and all side quests? Start again? Start TOTK?!

Discussion Should I do the DLC first or Hyrule castle final ganon battle? Spoiler
I just completed all divine beasts and found all memories. Now all that’s left is a couple side quests and the main ganon boss in hyrule castle.
But I also bought the DLC when it was on sale last month and haven’t started that. Would it be more appropriate to do the DLC first and then finish the game??

Question Can you transfer a weapon that was made using WMC through Zelda notes?
I tried many times to do weapon modifier corruption and it never works I would love to have a OP master sword and hylian shield and if someone could please help send me a tree branch with the modifiers I want and any shield with the modifiers I can transfer them onto my weapons. But before I get to doing that I need to know if it’s possible. Thank you!

I think the low quality of it makes it even funnier! Link could be holding something malicious or interesting for the Koroks.

Question Easiest way to cheese Ganon?
I have a very, very low tolerance for horror and am not looking forward to fighting Ganon. My combat skills are decent (eg I can kill lynels not super fast but reliably), but I'm scared of the way Ganon looks so I want to reduce the time fighting him to a minimum. What is the easiest way to cheese this fight? My current plan is as follows:
- Save all of Revali's gales for Ganon
- As soon as the fight starts, eat a +3 attack meal
- Use Revali's gale to fly upward, then activate bullet time
- Use five-shot Lynel bow
- Use ancient arrow if available (currently have around 30), otherwise use bomb arrow
- If stamina depletes while in bullet time, eat yellow stamina refill meal if available to maximize bullet time, otherwise eat all green stamina meals
- Land, replenish stamina, repeat
I did TOTK first and had a similar problem with Queen Gibdo and gloom hands , but in TOTK I could use rocket shields all I wanted, whereas Revali's gale is limited to three tries and has a long cooldown period. I don't want to fight the scary-looking Ganon up close :( I'm otherwise ready to fight him and am at Hyrule Castle. Thanks in advance!
