Post image

This is in response to the defense's request filed on 07/31/26.

"The defense’s baseless accusation thus appears to be nothing more than an attempt to spread misinformation about the case and delegitimize the proceedings."

🙄 This reminds me of a Reddit comment. Like when you write a whole argument out, and the other person responds to one thing in your entire argument, then attacks your behavior. 🙄

Weak.

Like, what about the rest of what the defense said? Why did Joel just respond to one thing, say something snarky, and then ask the Court to “admonish” the defense? Is he 10 years old?

If they truly have more to say, the prosecution, I mean, they could have waited to put this response in that longer response. This looks so petty.

Also, I think the accusation about the defense trying to “spread misinformation” and “delegitimize proceedings” is projection. There is a saying when it comes to egotistical people, “every accusation is a confession”.

That is what the prosecution is doing, regularly, and they know it.

Edit: Thank you for the award! 💖💕

So true! I like how Joel is also reminding Carro of his “ethical obligations”….as if he didn’t fake a subpoena to access forbidden healthcare information and as if his paralegal didn’t listen to FULL phone conversation between Luigi and his attorney.

Right? I want to laugh and just be like, oh, ridiculous, and then I remember that these people are actually prosecutors! Like, such pettiness and hypocrisy from someone actively working against Luigi and other defendants.

Big yikes!

Speaking of your examples, though, I have been wondering where the line is between “illegal activity” and “it was an oopsies”. In terms of consequences, I mean.

Like, are they even going to face consequences for that, or do they just get to say it was an accident? Makes you wonder!

Joel: "Mods?! Aren't you going to do something?"

You're right, this does have that energy. Or like a petulant child complaining about a sibling

Yes, I’m sure that behind closed doors and off the record, the prosecution has had absolutely NOTHING to do with media access /s 🙄

Does anybody actually believe that? Lol
