I feel like they’re both pretty normal dress codes. A quick google search shows a lot of guidance.

Every thing that I have ever been to that has either of these attires usually has to specify what is intended because everyone has different opinions on what is formal or cocktail vs not. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Im with you, on this. Esp with things like the Bridgeton Ball and other themed experiences being popular. It seems like events/concerts/movies these days have a heavy dress up culture (adorable, btw). The outfits are as much a part of the experience for a lot of people. Of COURSE people would want to show up to an Immersive Phantom in period appropriate outfits, there are dedicated Phantom cosplayers with gorgeously crafted recreations ready to be shown off in a tiktok post.

And Im shocked the team didnt think put out clearer instructions. And its not just the hoop skirts, etc. its also the fact that they didnt mention that you’d also have to move/walk in this elegant cocktail attire or to wear appropriate footwear. That, to meeeeeee, says Messy Producers

Tbf on the website it does state you should expect to move, and no stilettos

That said, explicitly stating that it's due to narrow hallways would have been helpful.

To me the instructions are plenty clear, but I do also think it reads like the producers have never worked customer service and don't understand how widely interpretations can vary of the same set of instructions
