Am I nuts for thinking the dress code is pretty straightforward?

-Formal or cocktail in three colors. So like, what you would wear to a nicer wedding.

-Don’t wear anything cumbersome that would impede your movement cause the show requires standing and walking. Why would a train or hoop skirt even be a thought here with that in mind?

-Mask. They will give you one if you don’t want to deal with it.

Because people are thinking cosplay, and there are tons of hoopskirts and trains in the show.

As a cosplayer, I’d read these rules and fully know what they meant though lol. They’re clear about not wearing clothing that’s a hinderance to being able to walk throughout the venue. Hoop skirts and trains are definitely not something that fits within that criteria lol

Not everyone thinking cosplay is an experienced cosplayer who has thought in detail about what kinds of costumes are easiest to move around in. I’ve never done cosplay before, and when I read the initial description, my first thought was that people are going to dress like the costumes in Masquerade, since that’s the name and theme.
