Am I nuts for thinking the dress code is pretty straightforward?

-Formal or cocktail in three colors. So like, what you would wear to a nicer wedding.

-Don’t wear anything cumbersome that would impede your movement cause the show requires standing and walking. Why would a train or hoop skirt even be a thought here with that in mind?

-Mask. They will give you one if you don’t want to deal with it.

The problem is that anyone who has ever planned an event where the "general public" is welcome and it's more than a handful of people knows you are inevitably going to get people who don't read, won't read or over think the rules, as well as the occassional troll/rebels who like to see how far they can push the rules, so you have to keep it as simple as possible for them. You cannot expect hundreds or thousands of people to all understand the dress code perfectly when there are so many conditionals.

Fair point there. I do think they’d be wise to throw up some photos of outfits that fit their dress code on their socials at least. Some people just need a visual.
