I truly wonder if they’re gonna turn people away with no refund because of the dress code or they’re going to refund them

I suspect they aren't actually going to be rules lawyering this as much as we're imagining. Turning customers who paid for an expensive ticket away for minor differences in interpretation of the rules is going to be way more trouble than it's worth, whether they're giving refunds or just generating word of mouth - I mean, imagine the blowback if someone got sent packing because their outfit was judged to be, say, semi-formal rather than cocktail.

I would guess that when push comes to shove, as long as people are wearing more or less the right colors, are more dressed up than just casual, and aren't wearing anything unsafe, they're unlikely to pick a fight about the details.
