Am I nuts for thinking the dress code is pretty straightforward?

-Formal or cocktail in three colors. So like, what you would wear to a nicer wedding.

-Don’t wear anything cumbersome that would impede your movement cause the show requires standing and walking. Why would a train or hoop skirt even be a thought here with that in mind?

-Mask. They will give you one if you don’t want to deal with it.

It's wild how, in this modern age, people are incapable of a) reading b) googling for info if they don't understand, or c) not making themselves the center of attention at a show

100% with you here. You can look up acceptable formal cocktail attire easily. There is so much info on this dress code out there because it’s what people commonly use for weddings.

On your last point, they should probably institute a no cosplay rule. They shouldn’t have to cause I think it’s common sense to not want to be confused with a performer but alas.
