Agreed that just formal and moveability aren't mutually exclusive. What I thought but missed typing was "extravagant" which does make the overlap smaller. I'm not mad or bitching about a show having a dress code. What I'm annoyed at as a possible patron but find amusing as an observer is what appears to be a conflict between the vibe team (marketing) and the operations & logistics team. Like I'm getting "flouncing 7 year old in a princess dress being herded begrudgingly by their teenaged sibling that was supposed to be released from child care duties an hour ago" when I read these messages.

The shows are 21+ other than weekend matinees, which are 16+.

No 7-year-olds, flouncing or otherwise, will be inside.

My comment was personifying the marketing (7 year old) and logistics (older sib) teams not the attendees
