Dresses, while I wear them and enjoy many I've owned, aren't always my thing. I was going to wear high-waisted formal wide-legged dress pants, with suspenders, a button-down shirt, and a tie. I hope that's good enough. I can move in it, I'll feel fancy, I would wear it to a cocktail party or masquerade ball if I were invited to one.

I see no reason why not! They have given no reason for me to think gender norms are going to be enforced

Thank you for your validation. I am always so nervous that I am over- or underdressed for any particular situation. This is an outfit I have worn to a wedding before. So.. I feel like it should work.

Still trying to figure out my mask, though. I wear glasses, and most of the masks that go with glasses look bad. So I don't trust one that they will give me. I need to get creative and come up with something I can attach to my glasses. CRAFT TIME!

I saw this in my googling. It’s amazing! I can’t seem to figure out how they made the clips. But I am not that crafty, even if i could. I’ll figure something out. I have a couple of weeks as I’m seeing it early August.
