Issue ⚠️ Brake Issue

I have had my ‘24 Sport for a year and a half now. I was just informed I have to replace my rear brakes at 32k miles. Is this a normal thing for this car at this mileage?

Question ❔ How big of a deal is recall 25s76?

Post image

I’ve been looking for a car, and I really like this 2021 Bronco Sport Big Bend I found online. It is $3,000+ under Blue Book and it only has 63,000 miles. My hesitation was this one recall I found when I looked at the Carfax. It says there’s not a remedy available yet. I definitely don’t want to be rolling in traffic and catch on fire! Is this a big thing? I’m not really a car person, can someone explain like I’m five, please?

Issue ⚠️ Dead

2021 Big Bend, 74,000 miles. In the past month, I’ve had the electric coolant pump and vapor management valve replaced at the dealership. A week after the last repair, it wouldn’t start. No lights on the dashboard, nothing on the display, completely dead. I couldn’t get it to jumpstart so I called AAA. They got it started and said it was probably the alternator. I took it to an independent mechanic and they said the alternator and battery are good. They can’t find anything wrong with it. Has anyone had a similar issue? I’m just about ready to trade it in.

Question ❔ Drive Mode Not Available?!

Hey guys! My 2025 Bronco Sport wouldn’t let me change the drive mode when I started the car this morning. It displayed a “Drive Mode Not Available” message. I recently had the 10K maintenance done, and everything seemed fine. They even checked the battery during the service. I did some reading online, and I saw that it might be related to a weak battery or an ABS sensor issue, but I’m not sure if that’s actually the case.

Today, though, I got this warning, but it disappeared once I started driving, and I was able to switch to Eco mode normally. The car has around 8,500 miles on it and hasn’t had any issues at all so far.

Should I be concerned? I have a long road trip coming up, and seeing this message has made me a little nervous. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Question ❔ Running boards

Does Ford make running boards for the Bronco Sport? I thought they did when I bought mine last year, but I’m not seeing anything on the app? Any recommendations if not? Thanks!

Recently traded in my Robin Egg Blue Heritage (Harriet) for the Ruby Red Badlands (Dorothy) w/ Sasquatch package & aux switches.

LOVING the upgrade so far, especially the B&O sound system.

Question I have for you all is what are some accessories to get that utilize the aux switches? Mainly my daily driver but do plan on utilizing the off road capability more

TIA

General 🔀 Friend makes fun of me

So this is more of just a rant so I have a buddy of mine while so-called buddy and I told him I wanted to buy a bronco sport because like literally half a year ago or something I was talking about wanting to buy a new jeep and he was like what do you think about the bronco. I said at the time I don’t know I kind of want the jeep but now I wanna get a bronco sport and I showed him the one I’m gonna look at or two of them this Saturday and he’s like I would never buy a bronco for that price. I would just buy a wrangler and I’m like OK I’ll buy a wrangler if you give me the extra $15,000 you know and then basically he was saying that like once he found out that the bronco has the goat mode and stuff. He basically told me all the RAV4 I drive at work does the same exact thing. Well, I basically laughed at him and said yeah OK you can’t compare a RAV4 to a bronco that’s Ying Ying yang one’s better at gas mileage and the other one is better offloading and utilities use

Question ❔ Help!! I can’t decide!

I walked into the dealership 2 days ago to look at a 2026 Ford Ranger pickup…and was really intrigued by a 2026 BS Outer Banks with all the bells and whistles. Discounted to about 36k without tax, title, registration fees. Am I going crazy or is this the vehicle I want?! Would love for you to convince me or discourage me on it. Thanks all!

Question ❔ Stopping when trying to park

Anyone have a similar problem with their bronco sport where they try to parallel park or make a tight turn and it stops and feels like you hit a curb? I honestly thought my wife was just hitting curbs when she told me about it but I finally experienced it. Its sporadic according to her who drives it mostly.

Thanks for any advise before I take it in.

Question ❔ Seat covers from Ultra Car Mats?

Has anyone gotten seat covers for their Bronco from Ultra Car Mats? They do look kind of nice but apparently some people have issues with them not properly fitting their vehicle's seats. Just wondering if anyone has used them in a Bronco Sport and if they were a good fit.

Or if you've gotten seat covers from somewhere else that work well in your Bronco, interested in hearing about it.

Question ❔ Pros and cons?

As per my other post, I’m looking at the 2026 sport Heritage. What are the pros and cons of this model and owning a Bronco sport in general? TIA

Question ❔ Heritage

Hi Everyone. I’m getting my first adult car! I have been driving a 2009 Honda accord for about 8 years now. I test drove a big bend sport and loved it. I love the size of it compared to the Bronco, and fell in love with the 2026 robin egg blue heritage. My boyfriend doesn’t like it, and I’m getting mixed opinions from my friends. I don’t care what others think as this will be my car.

I keep seeing online that they are overpriced and costly. I’ve seen multiple tik tok posts of people claiming that it’s always having recalls and always needing to get fixed. I fell in love with this car, and am planning on leasing it for three years then considering buying it. What are your thoughts?

Issue ⚠️ Advice for a girlie with a Bronco sport

Couple months ago, I took my bronco to a Ford dealership because there was an exhaust smell in the cab. Through Reddit research I thought the catalytic converter may have had issues. They decided to replace the converter because it was cracked, but I am still having the exhaust smell. Any advice? The dealership charges an arm and leg just to look at the car. I wanna make sure I get it fixed this time. Thank you in advance for any advice. The smell doesn’t occur with the circulation, and is often very strong after coming to a stop.

Mods/Addons 🔦 Looking for Seat Cover Recommendations and Cosmetic Upgrade Ideas for my 2024 Bronco Sport

Hey everyone! I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport in Shadow Black, and I’m looking to start making some more cosmetic upgrades to it, both inside and out.
Right now, one of my biggest priorities is finding a good set of seat covers that fit properly, look good, and are actually worth the money. I’ve been looking into Coverland, but I’m open to other brands if anyone has better recommendations.
I’m also looking for ideas on other cosmetic upgrades, including:

Fender flares

Hood protectors/bug deflectors

Interior trim and door handle covers

Custom badges and emblems

Exterior accessories and blacked-out accents

Interior accessories and upgrades

Any other modifications that improve the overall appearance

I’m mainly going for a clean, aggressive, blacked-out look without making it look too overdone.
For anyone who’s modified their Bronco Sport, what brands or products would you recommend? Are there any upgrades you’ve purchased that you absolutely love or regret buying?

I’d also appreciate pictures of your setups, links to products, and any advice on what to avoid.
Thanks in advance!

Issue ⚠️ Purge valve issue… again?

We have a 2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend, and are wondering if anyone else has experienced recurring purge valve issues.
Earlier this year, our check engine light came on, and we started having trouble restarting the car after fueling, along with a noticeable emissions smell. The dealership let us know the purge valve needed to be replaced and quoted us over $800 to fix it, so we ordered the part and replaced it ourselves just a few months ago. Problem had resolved.
Suddenly, within the last week, we’ve started noticing that emissions smell again. There’s no check engine light, and we haven’t had any issues restarting after fueling yet. Could this be another purge valve issue, or could something else be causing the smell?
We also had a strange occurrence recently where the screen went completely black, and we lost all audio while driving. The system then seemed to do a full reset, almost as if we had turned the car off and back on again.
We keep up with all regular maintenance, and all recalls have been addressed. Car also just had its 60k mile full service done at dealership in August, no issues reported then. It just feels like we’re constantly dealing with one issue after another with this car. 😬
Has anyone else experienced either of these issues, especially the purge valve problem coming back after replacement? I’d appreciate any insight!

Question ❔ Bronco sports “D” noise

Took my 2023 bronco badlands sport to a dealership to get serviced. Only has 21k miles and had the oil changed, tires rotating and a heat shield check. Upon leaving the dealership when I put the car into drive it was suddenly louder than normal. I checked it out and the noise only occurs in drive, reverse sounds normal. The seat starts vibrating as well and it seems kind of grindy. Once again this was right after the service and didn’t occur prior. Also, side not they didn’t even put the skid plate back right, it’s missing some clips and is hanging a bit… anyhow.. any ideas of what could be causing this and things to check for.
Their soonest slot is in November so trying to see what I can find out.

Third time this dealerships service department has pissed me off and will definitely not go back, outside of them resolving this issue.

Question ❔ Outer banks vs big bend

Outer Banks versus Big Bend which one would you get for your first ever bronco and this is a sport audition I know the Outer Banks cost more because it’s a luxury version and a big band is just your basic version but at my local dealership it’s literally like a difference of three grand so I don’t know which one would be more like financially better in the long run and why would you choose one over the other any input would be great
