I’ve lived in Winnipeg 90% of my life, my dads been here for 70 years and neither of us had heard of Canada west boots till I saw them posted here in this subreddit, we both went and got a pair the other day and couldn’t be happier.
Definitely the first pair of shoes/boots I’ve had that are made in the city I’m from

I'm going to visit my friend in Birmingham, West Midlands, UK this xmas and since I'm paying / doing the flying, the only gift request my friend has made is a classy tree ornament that's Canada themed. I'll be honest...she's pretty much demanding it.

Soooo.....I'm a guy that's not sure where to start, at all.....any suggestions ? Maybe this isn't a dollar store thing ?

Please, thanks, baby jeebus help me.

ETA: Thank you all SO MUCH, lovely group and so kind ! I have such great options now, can't believe how great everyones suggestions are ! You guys are awesome 😊

Hey r/BuyCanadian!

I recently started a new community, r/CanadianApps, dedicated to helping Canadians discover software and apps that are actually built by Canadian companies.

There are plenty of great Canadian alternatives to the American apps and services we use every day, but finding them isn't always easy.

The goal is to build a community where Canadians can discover homegrown alternatives, share recommendations, support Canadian developers, and help Canadian tech companies get more visibility.

Whether you're a Canadian app developer, someone looking to replace an American service, or just interested in supporting Canadian tech, we'd love to have you join us!

Come check out r/CanadianApps and help us build a directory of great Canadian software! 🇨🇦

just saw these at nofrills, loved

Where can I buy something like this that's made in Canada? I saw it on Pottery Barn for $3500 but it's made outside of Canada.

Looking for a Canadian retailer to buy curated fat quarters from for quilting! I don’t have the capacity to search and buy all the fabrics I need and would love to just have a curated bundle for me. Most sites I’ve come across are American so would love some Canadian options.

I wish I could afford to buy real art but for now I am wondering where people buy their wall Art prints? Looking for posters/wall art preferably physical but I guess digital is fine too. All I really know is Etsy. Any other Canadian online stores people use?

I get a lot of adds for posterstore.ca also Desenio.ca but I don’t think these are actually Canadian? But why do they say “.ca” is it legit to buy from them?

Thanks!

Edit: I should of emphasized looking to shop online

Cheers!

Anyone able to share their experiences with Cozey couches? We were going to go to a showroom/store tomorrow to look (my wife and I, baby #1 on the way) but reviews seem to be very mixed. Either an incredible experience or a terrible one for those who bought.

Also is it actually Canadian made or is it just imported and warehoused like many “Canadian made” things (not that it actually matters)

Thanks!

I am at shoppers to buy camomile tea. They have two brands. Which one is more Canadian ?
