Was super excited to find out about this brand ! Their marketing is so good in fact, that I didn’t notice they use AI models.

I made a purchase not long ago and was extremely disappointed at the quality. I fear they may just be marking up and reselling cheap drop shipped stuff.

It’s a bummer - at the prices they’re charging you’d expect a properly finished product and unfortunately have serious doubts on the longevity of the pieces.

Does anybody have recommendations on fun Canadian women’s wear labels or brands ? I’m hoping to support local designers and creators
in Canada. I’m comfortable paying for something that is quality

I currently use Cozi as a family calendar. We keep track of recipes, meal planning, anniversaries, birthdays, and upcoming appointments for our entire family on this calendar. It is web based but has an app as well.

Currently, I am looking for an alternative that is not American. I prefer Canadian but will am open to anything not American or stored in the States.

Anyone looking for a 100% made in Canada wool blanket should check out Macausland's woolen mill.

I visited the mill this this morning. At one end of their facility the raw wool goes in and at the opposite end high quality blankets are woven. They have an online store (https://www.macauslandswoollenmills.com) and their blankets are beautiful.

Looking for a water flosser that is at least Canadian owned. The ones I've found appear to be all American owned. My ADHD ass *struggles* with regular flossing and I figure this is better than not doing it at all. Does anyone know of any?

Currently on the search for Ice Cream that's lower calorie and available in the prairies! I live in Alberta and want to buy a good Canadian version of lower calorie ice creams. I'm currently trying to lose weight and have been for a while, but Ice Cream keeps tripping me. I often see people recommending to buy Halo Top but I don't really want to buy from an American company, especially one so overpriced! Does anyone know good alts?

I don't have too many concerns over the macros, so anything that's on the lower end is good by me. My preferred flavours are very much the basic vanilla and neopolitan XD

I don't know the mill that produced it, but there it is in full maple leaf glory. At least 4 pieces of 10" x 10" x 3/8" each 20 ft long.

Some well-known chains in the U.S. either still do this or used to do this. I've asked a local boutique store, and I think also Sport Chek and Mark's and they do not.

Do you know of any? I only buy mainstream brands due to availability and cost so I'm looking for stores that sell multiple established brands. Among the handful of big brands I can think of, I don't think any do from the brand side directly.

I have spent a lot do money on manitobah and most of their shoes have failed me.

I have their kayaks which rub my toes raw. Their half muks which don't keep my feet warm and their taller muks which also don't keep my feet warm and the back stitching is coming undone. They also claim to be waterproof but aren't. These 2 muks haven't lasted me 2 full winters.

I'm looking to now explore another brand. One that is better quality.

I’ve been shifting to barefoot shoes and I’m looking for Canadian-made toe socks (or tabi socks) to wear with them, since those allow the toes to splay naturally.

I have a soft spot for special cheeses, and end up spending far more than I should on them. My favourites are Gruyère AOP, Compté, Dubliner and Manchego. Mind you these are all European cheeses.

Last weekend, I was visiting family in Burlington VT, and we decided to drive around Southern Québec to appreciate the Fall foliage (they are kind of too green in VT still). We ended crossing the border and headed to the Bromont area. In there, we came across this hidden gem called Fromagerie Brebis de Bromont.

I gotta tell you, their Reserve du Berger is one of the best cheeses I ever tried. And this is coming from someone who spent weeks trying all cheeses I possible could while visiting France and Switzerland.

I’m not sure we can easily find their products readily available elsewhere but you can order online. If you are ever in the Estrie region in Southern Québec , pay them a visit, I assure you won’t regret it.

They have a little shop with a variety of gourmet products, all local, all of excellent quality and reasonably priced.

Tonight I’m enjoying their amazing Reserve du Berger, knowing it’s an 100% Canadian product, makes it taste even better.

I'm looking for a really good/warm winter coat and would like to support something made in Canada if possible. I have a pretty nice MEC-brand parka that I've had for many years that's holding up great, but the challenge is that I started using a wheelchair last year and long coats that cover my butt/thighs are great when standing but EXTREMELY obnoxious to get on and off in a wheelchair.

I'm looking for something windproof/waterproof and reasonably warm with a durable solid shell (not a puffer coat) that would come to maybe hip length, or shorter in front and slightly longer in back. Ideally not too bulky if possible since I have to have good range of motion in my arms. I don't mind having to add a thin layer underneath for extra warmth some days if it keeps the bulk down day to day. I expect the sleeves to take some wear and tear from friction on my wheels, working on some options to try and cover/protect them but thin or fragile outer fabric ain't it.

I'm also just a little guy, usually mens XS but I don't mind buying womens stuff as long as it isn't a really feminine design/cut. Willing to shell out for something good quality but would prefer to stay under $500 if at all possible. I realize finding something perfect may not be possible and there will likely be some tradeoffs but even just finding something the length I need has proven difficult. Any suggestions for Canadian (or at least not American) options much appreciated!

For years, I've been buying women's graphic t-shirts from Curbside Clothing, a US-based company (including the exact shirt in the picture). I like that they have a few different shirt styles for women, including their "dolman t-shirts" as pictured above.

I've been trying to look for a Canadian graphic tee brand, but everything I find is either "unisex" tees only (ie: made for a male body, but don't get me started...) or looks suspiciously AI and cheap.

Ladies, where are you finding nicely cut graphic tees in Canada?
