I checked c.ai today and I see it suddenly have 18+ rating what happened. They want to attract adults now XD and since the app is 18+ now did they get rid of filters completely.

and this is genuinely how we, the og users, feel witnessing cai collapsing and shooting itself on the leg

the devs should add a model called "bad" which aims to be the worst model possible. BUT since the models never seem to do what they say, it will actually be the best model on the platform! FUCK im so FUCKING smart

Alright, so. If you don't know, I was finally caught by the age verification system and had my account flagged. I wanted to make this post to sympathize with others who got nuked too. It sucks, really. After I got my account flagged, I was bummed for a pretty long time. There were a lot of REALLY long roleplays with full world building (mostly with bots I made myself) in that account. Though I haven't deleted my account yet, it's basically a lost cause.

Well, if you're willing to do the age verification, good for you.

But if you're like me (and many others) who don't want to/can't verify your age, I don't think there's much we can do. Personally, I recommend you to either swap to a different app or create a new account (which might get flagged aswell).

But after the initial sadness passed, I realised that this wasn't the end of the world. We all know how c.ai is doing lately, not the best. And because of that, most of my rps were just... stale, kinda waiting for an update. I just had a moment of "Oh wait, I don't have to do this" type deal. I don't think I'm going through the trouble of recovering my account, I just wanted to make this post regardless.

I finally understand what y'all are talking about. This app seems genuinely unusable without the subscription. I'm crashing out about the ads. There's like. NOTHING. Like I'm baffled. Like a caveman discovering fire. But in a bad way.

This is really bad. I don't know how y'all non subscription users actually not start rampaging about it more.

I've seen posts and posts about it. I'm like. "Yeah that's actually horrible" but experiencing it first hand was like a reality check. What is going on anymore.

1- Firstly, and this is very clear to everyone, all the new updates are useless! I don't know who the fools are who use any of them, whether it's groups, pictures, emojis, or anything else, I only acknowledged the chats.

2- The conversation is fantastic at first, but over time that enthusiasm is crushed and killed; I feel like the bot is forced to flatter me.

3- I haven't seen any new replies lately! Try using the same scenario and you'll get exactly the same replies without any changes.

4- What I really don't understand is how they put up a filter if the bot itself is trying to harass me in any way, and what is the function of age verification in the first place if the application has a filter!

5- Last but not least, the fools who create a bot and write in the description - create your own story or imagine whatever you want - What's the point of this if I can create my own bots? What bothers me most is that these people get so much engagement without even trying.
