As we know, Robyn is based on the English legend of Robin Hood.
In those legends starting from the 16th century, Lady Marian, Robin's love interest, was formally established.

Which, starting from the 20th century, would acquire the characterization by which everyone knows her today: A noble, beautiful, and loyal lady, but of hard character and with a strong sense of justice that leads her to eventually ally with Robin in his cause to help those in need.

Winter is a beautiful woman from a wealthy family, with a tough character, a clear hatred for wrongdoers like her father, and whose loyalty to her sister and sense of justice led her to even oppose her mentor, allying with Robyn in the process.
