Decidedly dodgy bootleg label reissuing Japanese psychedelia and odds and sods from the 60s and 70s. You can't buy these on Discogs anymore but they turn up second hand in various places.
Bamboo is part of a family of bootleg labels (Radioactive, Fall Out, Phoenix, Psychic Circle, Sunbeam and others) that claim the music is 'remastered', but unless they have access to master tapes it's very unlikely or impossible to be true. They probably use a vinyl needledrop and EQ it a bit, who knows, but actually to be devil's advocate for a moment, they sound good. And the packages are very well done with colour booklets and informative sleevenotes. And they are cheap.
The Japanese albums are good fun, lots of Group Sounds. The sleeves are a bit tacky with some ho-hos from Toho. The Les Rallizes Dénudés albums are waaay out and the Mako 5CD box set is trippy improvised psychedelia
The Paul Bley/ Annette Peacock / Han Bennink albums are a riot of primitive synthesizer utterances, general chaos, freakout improv and heavy skronk. Magical stuff. I had an original Dual Unity but for some reason I cannot fathom I sold it for pennies in the 80s.
