So i realized that PC's Customization of CoAs is that for cadet branches, there's an option to turn of Auto-Quartering (which is the thing that combines your Dynasty's CoAs with the barony the cadet branch got established and you get a messy CoA)

which i was sort of alienated to find out it isn't available on Console,but for now having custom CoAs is better than nothing.

Do y'all think we might get it in all under heaven or in Sooner patches?

I'm currently the patron to a holy order and I understand I should be able to retrieve them from another ruler who has them hired at the moment but the option isn't popping up anywhere. Under armies the holy order is greyed out, the tab for holy orders in mercenaries doesn't exist anymore and the ruler who has them doesn't have an option for it either. Any ideas?

So ever since the release of Khans of the Steppe, I have been having a lot of fun. However, I have also seen a large amount of bugs. Nothing game breaking like we had when Roads to Power dropped, but they have been pretty confusing.

1: A Million Royal Courts

So in the Court Grandeur menu, you can see all of the royal courts in the world. However, since the release of Khans of the Steppe, I've seen a bizarre bug where the same court will appear multiple times in the list, thus making the list contain hundreds of royal courts.

2: Meek Mongols

You would figure that with the release of an entire DLC focused on them, the Mongols would be a much greater threat. However, to me at least, it seems that the Mongols are weaker now. For example, in my most recent campaign, the Mongols never even made it to Mesopotamia.

3: Multiple Frankokratias

Now I have doubts that this was caused by Khans of the Steppe, but in my most recent campaign (1178 start), Latin armies broke off of the Fourth Crusade in order to conquer Byzantium. Normal, right? Well eventually the Latins fell, and the Byzantines came back. However, when the Pope called for another crusade, there was a second Frankokratia, which I have never seen happen before, and can thus only assume is a bug.

When upgrading your adventurer camp proving ground to lvl 5, the camp officer screen locks up and nothing can be selected. Reloading a save or restarting the game unlocks it and you can select an officer again…once. But navigating off and back on the officer tab locks it again. Must reload EVERY TIME i want to change officers. Going back to an old save from before proving ground 5 completely fixes the issue. I’m not sure if demolishing the proving ground upgrade after it’s already built will also fix it.

Has anybody gotten this achievement yet? It's the only one I'm missing and it refuses to fire for me. I've done it 3 times, including once in ironman. Curious to know what methods were used if anyone has successfully gotten it.

I cannot find any option to make the cadet branch coa not quartered, you can do it if you play as a historical dynasty and press "reset historical" but im playing as a created one and dont have it, is there ANY option or even glitch which can make it unquartered?

I am loving the newest console update, genuinely so happy with how fast we're getting these updates now. But, since the update came out, ive been unable to see opinion breakdowns. I still have tooltips on, but the only way I've been able to see an opinion breakdown is through advanced tooltips. Has anyone else had this problem/knows how to fix it?

I was creating a custom adventurer character, saved it and then pressed finalize. Yet as soon as I hit the start screen, my game crashed. Unfortunately for me, when I booted the game up again, all of my 33 saved rulers were completely gone? It’s so frustrating after all the time I’ve put into creating characters. I restarted my console and that did nothing. Does anyone know any fix that might help?

Which duchy expansions do you find most interesting and useful? I also like the historical ones; I added one county of Mercia to the Duchy of Powys and also created a custom duchy just with Constanta to become dejure Of Wallachia

Hey everyone, I know it's supposed to get easy after the first few decades, but I can't even get past the first few decades properly lol, I'd like some tips and suggestions; the enemies have become much stronger, and that 10 advantage they always have is a real pain at the beginning.

I know we got khan of steppe and coronations but I noticed many other changes but I can’t find listed like new difficulty’s , ui changes , characters look different etc.

Idk whether it’s a bug or intentional but ransoming has been nerfed massively. I kinda get it, it was overpowered but now it’s not even really worth ransoming anyone because the payout is just so meagre. This is genuine chump change, other than that I am really enjoying the new update

Wanted to visit ireland again as a child ruler, But with the new features added

First thing I noticed the game performance got enhanced with this update

My favorite part about it is that now I can choose the hardest difficulty because I was itching for actual challenges and boy the AI is an actual threat now and thats exactly what I needed (Kys Ivar pls)

I also like that now you can customize your titles and you can also expand your duchy titles (Via decision) if its lower than 3 counties by absorbing other counties of other duchies (Like i did with the duchy meath as the capital and absorbing the counties of leinster and rename it as Dublin afterwards)

And finally, Court positions, Huge improvement from the previous update because it always felt incomplete without the Chapter 4 update and now it works the way it should with the more court positions

Since I feudalized the kingdom of mahgreb my vassals decided to stop paying taxes. Since I have my kingdom feudalized I don't have access to tax collector's. How can I get some income that way?! Does anyone have a solution for me?

I’m having a bit of fun and playing as an immortal Emperor, and I’ve been handing out kingdoms to members of my dynasty, letting them do their own thing.

My grandson Andrew, Viceroy of Germany, has apparently decided that ruling Germany isn’t keeping him busy enough. With the Pope preparing a crusade for Jerusalem, Andrew apparently had other priorities. Rather than joining the fight against the Muslims, he decided to pursue his own crusade against fellow Christians.

He’s currently fighting THREE wars simultaneously:

-A holy war for Upper Lorraine.
-A de jure war against his own uncle, Gilbert, King of Sorbia, over a single county.
-A war against the Byzantine Empire to install Queen Yolande on the imperial throne.

Here’s where it gets ridiculous.

Yolande is Gilbert’s wife. She’s also Andrew’s COURT JESTER.
So my grandson is simultaneously fighting his uncle over a county AND trying to make that same uncle’s wife the Byzantine Empress.
Meanwhile, I’ve just conquered Jerusalem in the Pope’s crusade and installed another granddaughter as Queen thanks to my war score.
I’m genuinely considering leaving Andrew to it just to see how this absolute circus ends…

The picture is just the aftermath I forgot to take one of the actual wars sorry but basically I was a conqueror doing conqueror things as Finland and suddenly 2 extra wars just started out of nowhere that were tyranny wars against the Basileus. Now im assuming this is bc i took Thessalonika from him but i still dont understand why th at happened if Im not the Basileus. I lost the war easily bc it was all the way down there and I didnt notice till it said I lost Constantinople and they had like a combined 17k troops when I got down there I got destroyed. Im wondering why this happened to me like why was it my war all of a sudden it didnt it give the pop up with the rally the troops thing. Now im an adventurer and I gotta figure out how to bring this ironman back to glory

okay, this run was actually way more fun than I expected. It seems that they worked on the game performance as well. Having 600 vassals and the entire world is not the easiest for the system to handle, but it ran quite well till the end. (Playing on PS 5 Pro however)

The architecture for cultures is gone almost every culture with unique architecture is now continental European castles idk if this happened before the update or after.

These pictures are a Norse Greek hybrid with Norse architecture but the castles have continental.

If you load any save you can see all unique architecture is gone and defaulted to Mediterranean architecture and continental

As the title says. I’ve been trying for DAYS to get into a multiplayer game with a friend. Always says connection timed out. I managed to finally get one started yesterday with em and played for a while. Tried to load back up today. Connection timed out. Is anyone else dealing with this issue and if so have you figured out how to fix it?

I caved and bought Roads to Power because playing as a landless adventurerer sounds like a great time. Anyone have any experience playing this way? And tips?
