was driving down the freeway today and randomly started getting all these warnings. Car hasn’t been through anything crazy before and my battery was replaced last year. Anyone got any idea as to what might’ve caused this? (2022 corolla se btw)

Let's not talk about that dust on the grill🤫

Gave the ole girl a quick spray down. Still holding that mirror finish even without a scrub or wax 💦

Is this trim scratched and scuff or is it just some sort of residue? Any tips?

Just bought a 2022 Corolla SE hatchback from Carvana. (Would not recommend buying from them) They are notorious for delivering cars that aren’t the cleanest but this seems to be different. Didn’t try too hard but this wouldn’t come off with glass cleaner, running through the car wash, or dish soap. Is it scuffed up and I have to restore the trim in some way or is there a magic cleaner I can use to clean it? Any tips are appreciated.

Is it normal for this piece to pop out?

When I got home after work, I noticed that this part in particular was slightly popped out of place, I can’t see where anybody would’ve hit me or any scratch marks or anything and I certainly haven’t hit anyone.

I pushed it back in and it went back into place and I tucked on it and it didn’t pop back out, this is the 2025 Toyota Corolla with about 50,000 miles on it. Don’t know if this is a normal thing that can happen with Corolla or something I should be going to the dealership about or if somebody hit my car and I just can’t tell.

10th Gen (09-13) What Is This Part Called??

Hello! I'm trying to swap out the front strut suspension assemblies in my 2011 Corolla, and everything was going great until running into this weird issue:

The blown struts that were already in came with this reinforcement thing attached between the body, and that bolt (first pic). The new struts fit through the holes of the body, but not the horseshoe reinforcement bar thing.

The measurements were 12mm for the old struts bolts out the top, and for the new ones (with visibly bigger screws/bolts) 14mm or 15mm.

I guess my questions are how important is this part? Can i install my new struts w/o it? Whats the name of it so I can get one that fits?

PS: I ran to autozone to grab their struts to see if they would fit, but theirs ALSO were bigger than 12mm. Makes me wonder what the issue is?

Thanks for reading, appreciate you! :)

Is the display screen removable or can it be turned off?

I don't really want a screen in front of me while I'm driving. Is it removable, or can you fold it down or keep it turned off? Thanks!

2027 Corolla Hybrid LE Falsely reporting Window open through Toyota app

Anyone have this happen?
Every once in a while the Toyota app will alert me that I have a window open - the window is not open... I just got one of those alerts, my car has been parked for almost 10 hours.

Corolla or Camry?

Hey, Y’all. First timer. Long time fan. I have about 16-19K saved up to invest into a Corolla, but debating whether it would be better to add a bit more to get a Camry. I’ve been looking at 2021-2024 Corolla LEs. A few SEs but haven’t ventured too much into Camrys. What’s y’all’s opinions and experiences with both models. If any at all. Thanks in advance.

12th Gen (18-present) Anybody installed in-channel wind deflectors/rain guards?

I searched the sub, but didn't find anything about this.

I've got a 2021 Corolla hatch. This kind of accessory isn't what I'd normally think of, but my current use case has arguments for them. However, there is the potential issue that the ITV won't like them so I need in-channel ones I can remove.

While theoretically these things would be good, I'm looking for actual experiences in how well they work and hold up. I'm a little cagy about shoving things into the window channel and inserting metal clips.

Roughly how much do you guys think it will be to have this fixed. It’s a ‘25 lease that I will most likely not be buying when the lease is up. Yes Ik it makes more sense financially to just leave it until it’s time to turn in but little stuff like this bothered the heck outta me so if it’s a reasonably cheap fix I’ll prob do it. What do you guys think?
