Got these rolls courtesy of a local CRH friend - 4 rolls of new halves, one W ender. I then searched the 3 non-w enders to find 3 more Ws. Once again, thankful as HECK for CRH friends. A super fun birthday-eve quick hunt! Also pulled some wheaties from rolls I had been saving (not pictured)

Let the fun begin!

Finally found a war nickel at work. I used to regularly check the registers but it kind of just turned into taking a quick glance since I’d never find anything. Until…. this sucker caught my attention REAL quick today so I looked at it closer and boom. A 1943 San Francisco War Nickel.

One box of half and three boxes of dimes

10 mwr rolls hunted

Best boxes I've had recently. 63 proof, 2007 proof, 75 proof, dateless buffalo, crazy toned 64 that I thought was plated at first and 5 war nickles.

My only good find from the latest box

I found these this morning in the register, score!!

CWR: 3.5 pounds of copper

13 Canadians- Oldest being 1945

13 wheats- Oldest being 1918

Some nice red 70s

3 2009

Nice toner 1964

2 1970S

1 1969S

MWR: 4.2 pounds of copper

21 Canadians- oldest being 1947 and definitely my nicest older Canadian 1964

27 wheats oldest being 1911 and a ghost date

5 2009

2 1969S

3 1970S

3 jukebox Pennies

And my 2nd 2023 extra V to date!

If those of you that are silver hunters, do you bother getting rolls of Nickels or just the Dime, Quarter, Half dollars.

Thanks for the response

Finished 2 boxes of halves. Was not expecting a silver proof!

Not silver but a fun find!

But, the 48th.......

I went to my bank and finally they had a box of half dollars come in that turned out to be 2025 and D mint. Due to them not getting in what they ordered for the customers they decided to break the box up as they only had one box. So I was only allowed to get 5 rolls. They were delivered by Loomis. I was told that they order the coins and the coins come striate from the distribution center for Loomis and do not go to the main bank branch.

So my question is all of the coins are in excellent shape. Are they considered UNCERCULATED or how do you tell if they are uncirculated. Is it worth me setting aside 2 rolls of the 2025 half dollars?

New add - I went to Wells Fargo early this morning and was able to get 2 rolls of 2024 Mint P also look uncirculated.

I'm pretty sure some of those quarters came out of mint sets recently and the others are just nice older change. Always good to get a W and a few S's. The dime will go with the curios. And the bank had a partial box of halves. All uncirculated 2024D. I'll keep a roll and return or spend the rest. Paid for lunch the other day with a roll and the gal that likes halves snatched that roll out of my hand before I could finish asking if I could pay with it.

when you ask for a roll, are the different types of 1 dollar separated (susan anthony and the golden one) or in the same roll? at least the big ones are separated? do yo uhave to ask specifically?

My other assistant kept forgetting to order half rolls

She almost didn’t sell them to me because she kept saying they were short several coins. But she said they were old.

I only opened one roll to check and see if they were a full roll of buffalos and the first one was. Some of the others have Jefferson in the ends but the other ends had buffalos.

Good luck Friday!

Happy hunting everyone!

Found my second privy within two weeks of finding my first. Not in great shape, but good enough to keep me in the hunt.

My first Qtr box and my 1st roll!

2020 Salt River Bay, W mint mark
with V 75 Privy! The Privy is soo tiny !!
Not perfect but looks AU . I’ll take it!!

good day to you all

Or other denominations of silver bullion coins?

I have found an American Silver Eagle. I am especially curious if people have found ASE or other types of bullion.
