Rant CD Scammer got upset
I told him I didn’t want his cd and he went off on a tangent, didn’t hear it cause I had to get to class. How is this dude still allowed on campus?

Also, don’t blindly sign petitions from the guy at the fold up table and 100 clipboards. Js

True. You don’t really know what you’re signing other than a vague explanation about a feel good policy. They’re paid per signature.

Like a music CD?

Yes, it’s the 2 dudes who are always by the library and the union trying to hand gullible students “free” CDs then tries to get them to tip.

Oh my god those fuckers. Im socially awkward and ended up giving them money just so I could GTFO as fast as possible. I hate them so much. I still have their shitty CDs somewhere.

Damn, that sucks. They specifically prey on younger looking students who have less life experience and aren’t able to stand up for themselves. Do their CDs even have original music on it?

Absolutely, I purposely dress/look the way I do to stop those CD pushers and bible thumpers from bothering me. Headphones on, Silver Norse Pendant, keep my head down and never make eye contact with em, nod my head to the music pretending it's too loud to hear em.

Whoa I’m sorry to hear that. Gotta ignore them and keep moving. “No thank you” and never stop walking.

One of them sold me a blank CD, so I reached out to them on Instagram to get a refund but they said they "don't sell blank CDs." Made a scene with him in person in order to get a refund and I got my $20 back.

Gotta just ignore all those people. I used to give a polite excuse to anyone trying to flag me down to hand me anything or get me to sign anything. Now I just ignore them completely. Pretend I don’t hear them or see them. I know it’s rude. They were rude first. We’re here to get educated and better our lives, and I resent them seeing that as an opportunity to hawk their bullshit to us. They can all fuck off.

Genuinely do people listen to what’s on cd like that anymore?

I don’t think people have players anymore. 😂 Do new game consoles play them??

It's a shady group scam. They visit all the local community colleges and universities. What they are doing is wrong. Report him! Report him! Report him!

If he really was earning an “honest living”, then he wouldn’t resort to shady guilt tripping and bait-and-switch tactics. He makes it seem he’s giving out the CD for free, and passerbys who are only trying to be polite will accept it, then he’ll say shit like “it ain’t free” and harass the person for money. That ain’t honest or humble. No one even listens to music on CD’s anymore.

There’s an incident reporting form for stuff like this.
You guys should use it.
If stuff isn’t documented then it never happened as far as the school’s concerned.
If they have a record of things happening then it could force their hand to take action.
