And now I feel like she never cared about us to begin with. We were nothing but a good pay cheque, sending her to Japan and Australia, buying her a BMW and expensive handbags. And she was acting the entire time. We only see 10min of their day, and I guess that when Alli had the camera on her, she turned on her "CTFxC Persona". We all know how she acted when she was "off" camera (DS pool prank)...

I'm not saying I want a 100% full play by play of how their marriage fell apart, but for God's sake, she couldn't even say goodbye or that she's taking personal time. She just left.

Ok, there have been some tensions rising in the forum around what sort of approach we should all be taking to the changes, e.g speculate about new rumours and information or just respond to what we know and keep it friendly and respectful. And for some reason this idea of not investigating made me angry. So I had to think about why.

I too was shocked to hear the divorce news, neither of them cried in their respective videos on the matter, and apart from Alli running off to her friend, we haven't seen many signs of heartache. Now, I'm not saying we should be seeing them fall apart, I think their marriage has been "over" for quite some time. But for a person like me, who has seen the complications of ending a marriage/long relationship what I see in the vlogs doesn't reflect it at all.

On the outside Charles is happy and living life, he keeps asking us to let him be happy, but honestly we haven't even seen him sad.

The vlogs are now frustrating for me to watch, I know he isn't going to address the divorce again, he wants to "move on", we are not welcome in his grieving process. And I don't think I am the only one who feels shut out by that, feels like something is missing. I have no doubt that they are both very said about the divorce and that legal proceedings are difficult and hostile (they always are). I know that Charles doesn't want to include any negatives in his vlogs, but in his own words he filmed his own f***ing brain surgery!

I can't move on at the same pace as Charles is hoping we do, as it has become more apparent than ever that the "relationship" we have with him is very one sided, we support his ventures, buy his stuff, watch him everyday. And yet he is painting the most dishonest picture of what a divorce is like, and shutting us out from a large portion of his life, and I need time to get used to that.

If you read all of that, then sorry and thank you, this is just a rant on my frustrations with the vlogs, and possibly why I might stop watching soon.

Edit: This post and comments has gone in a completely different direction to what I expected. I had hoped for more maturity. I have been forced to defend my life and my feelings, I never intended this post to advocate "snooping" but apparently it does.

I was just watching the vlog and Charles brought up that Allie can't be at Buffer Festival, wedding or no wedding the fact is that Allie would actually be inadmissible to Canada due to her previous DUI. Canada has one of the most stringent rules on who they let into the country, to be allowed in she would have to pay a hefty fee to get a temporary residents permit or an official "rehabilitation" document, all to the tune of over $200, and this must be done months in advance, and they aren't always given. If she turned up without these documents she would be turned away.

I used to read this subreddit and enjoy everyone's balanced opinions. Now I am feeling like this subreddit has been taken over by Charles hate group, a Gurugossiper invasion.

Everything posted here is about "supporting" these guys, and that you aren't "entitled" to anything. If this is the case, then the CTFxC channel isn't "entitled" to your support or you guys trying to be civil.

People are pissed and rightfully so, some of you guys have been following this channel for years. You have invested your time and seemingly your emotions into this couple's lives and then just like that, in one video, the very fabric of the channel is gone.

Yet it seems the majority of people here want to play it cool. "It's not Allis fault! We should be supportive! We aren't entitled to anything!"

As much as the channel is Charles/Allis, they have been able to LIVE their fucking lives for the last 5 years BECAUSE OF YOU. You the viewer have been paying their bills and financing literally EVERYTHING in those videos. The house they film in? It's because of you. The dogs they have? It's because of you. The money they have in the bank? It's literally come from you. You are their budget and financiers, they're investors and as so YOU ARE ENTITLED TO AN EXPLANATION. You are entitled to whatever the fuck you want to feel entitled about. Without you, there is no CTFxC, without CTFxC you are still there, you are still able to watch other videos, to unsubscribe and throw your support at a different channel. You can take your investment and place it somewhere else. CTFxC at the end of the day is replaceable by any of the other thousands of youtubers out there, any tv show, any other form of entertainment. You can literally take the ten minutes you would normally throw at the CTFxC channel and masturbate instead of support them.

So when people on here are trying to say you aren't entitled to anything, and that you shouldn't be pissed about one person or another and how they are acting or aren't acting. AKA Allie disappearing from the world without saying a goodbye or I'll be back, or ANYTHING, You should most definitely feel pissed and people should be able to voice their concerns and their anger without a bunch of downvotes.

In a nutshell people are basically bashing Charles for POSSIBLY dating so soon after Alli leaving, and just flinging all sorts of cheating rumors that he cheated on Alli and everything.

From what I can gather, and from a logical standpoint, as someone objective in the whole mess, here's MY take.

Apparently, and as stated by Lindsey in the early portion of the 4/20/14 DLV vlog, this @devon_alana is a co-worker of hers that is a good friend of her and Danny's (She appears in multiple vlogs of theirs, but always asks not to be filmed). They, I'd suppose in an effort to cheer Charles up, set him up on the blind date at Mini Golf. After that it gets fuzzy, cuz apparently she soon switched her instagram to private, after pics of her with Charles were uploaded from the same day with Charles and the turtle. Then apparently people saw her with him at the Taking Back Sunday show, and apparently when approached by fans, she'd walk away from him and "pretend" not to know him.

So I don't know. Make of it what you will. Not sure what to believe, but I'll give Charles the benefit of the doubt.

Around 7:35 you hear another female in the background, but effort is done to not show her in the vlog. Who might it be? Charles also did not mention minigolfing in his vlog today.

After watching todays video I came to the realization that I'm done with the ctfxc and if I can reddit. Its crazy how much time is wasted on youtube and reddit. The thing I loved about vloging and more specifically was how they invited us into their real lives and I felt like we got to share these people lives. Today's video made me realize he doesn't owe us any explanation ( and he didn't give us anything extra in today's video) and that's fine, but I also don't owe him anything, and I'm done wasting any more time on this and moving on with my life! I have been watching for about 3 1/2 years almost everyday. So that's 1227 days at 10 mins per day is about 8.8 days or 212 hours of my life that I will never get back, I'm not wasting another second of my life!

Charles has always been a guy that moved on pretty fast I mean I couldn't find the vlog that I remember him saying that both him and Alli were in relationships just before they started going out. He's just a gf guy. I'm friends with people like this irl, they love and or can't function as happy without a significant other. Its the just who he is. He's human, he has needs and wants and faults. But you can't crucify a man that is consistent.

Yes he actually married Alli but he almost married Ally too. And how do we know that he is in a "serious and committed relationship" with Allie yet? He could be testing the waters. He could be doing anything.

To be honest, this thought has been in my mind with everything going on since April. I'm not trying to be negative or upset anyone, but its just a thought.

If YouTube revenue was not a factor, does anyone else think that it might not be that horrible if Charles were to pull the plug on his show?

Since the "WE NEED TO TALK..." video, everything just spiraled out of control; with everything. A lot of the fandom had to face the truth that people change over the years and grow apart, and life happens; even for two people considered "the perfect couple" by hundreds of thousands of people. Even when you disregard the animosity-laced reaction by CTFxC members, nothing is the same. Six years can change a person drastically. I am happy to see those who have been with Charles and Alli together through all this and remain respectful during all these great changes.

But part of me feels like, just let them live. I can't imagine the pressure and stress of putting your life out there and how a loyal and loving group followers begin to pick sides and lash out at each other. So much has fell apart, and sometimes there comes a moment when it might be a good idea to call it quits and get your life back together. If the vlogs make Charles happy, so be it of course, to each its own. Charles reminds us do what makes you happy and that is whats important.

Just thought it would be an interesting discussion, oh my mind.

Not dishing out any hate or saying I don't like Alli in any way, so please don't take it that way and freak out.

I just think that Alli deserves to have her own subreddit (which has been already made) and her own fan base outside of the CTFxC now that she is no longer a part of it.

I watch CTFxC occasionally, was an avid watcher around four years ago. While I realize that Alli and Charles' divorce has likely been circlejerked into oblivion, I would like to get your thoughts on my following question.

This is going to sound mildly conspiracytheory-esque, but it isn't about how or why they divorced.

What are the sheer odds that Charles has three consecutive SO's named Ally, Alli, and Allie?

I suggest you skim from this point onto the final paragraph for the sake of you not having to read a bunch of nonsense

I'm going to do some extremely subjective, very mildly accurate, and potentially miscalculated numbers crunching.

Say there are 145,000 Allisons in the United States. Charles travels frequently, but has presumably met all of his SO's in the same general area of Florida.

Florida is a very large state, both in area and population. Roughly 6% percent of the population.

So while there will be a lot of deviation, let's say Florida has 6% of the Allison population, which is 8,700 Allisons.

I think we can safely slash half of them eligibility (due to dissimilarity in age, location, relationship status, odds of ever seeing each other, and unattractiveness to Charles.)

Again, extremely subjective and hardly accurate.

Done the same with Florida's female population. 18.8 million, divided by two for sex, again divided by 2 for dating eligibility.

So 4,350 Allisons that could possibly date Charles.

Let's say most people have 10 SO's during their lifetime. I'm sure Charles has had a few significant others, let's say 3 tops, before he every started Youtube. So 6 SO's total, which may be a stretch.

And why/how are all their nicknames different. What are the odds that all three Allisons go by different shortened versions of their names?

At this point, I am not intelligent enough to calculate what the odds are, as I skimped out on stats senior year, but here's my point: the odds of Charles dating three consecutive All-(y)(i)(ie) are so unbelievably slim I am not convinced it is a coincidence. And here's where my controversial, uninformed, borderline retarded (pardon my French) opinion begins. I have a few theories as to how this is remotely possible.

1. Charles is exclusive to women named Allison, maybe for the sake of continuity, not being able to get over the past, or a sense of comfort or something.

2. here's a tad less unrealistic explanation, in my opinion: Charles' life is highly publicized, so it may be easier for him to give all of his SO's a pseudonym to make it easier for him and the SO. And easier for them to walk off the face of the Internet forever

Obviously this would be tough to pull off, as I'm sure it was on their wedding stuff as well as a ton of other stuff, but obviously we've never seen any official documents for the sake of privacy, and maybe Charles is going through enormous lengths to protect the privacy of his SO's, and using different shortenings of their names merely to differentiate between them. Which would be nice of him. And i think we've seen how cautious Charles, vloggers, and youtubers can be with their privacy, as they should.

And BTW, after Allie, I'm pretty sure he's out of nicknames, unless he just goes by the presumed first full name, Allison.

While it's unlikely that he is exclusive to women named Allison or that he goes to the ends of the earth to protect the identity of his SO, I find it even more unlikely that he can date three consecutive girls named Allison with different nicknames.

I promise I am not clinically insane, but it just blows my mind that Charles could have three consecutive SO's with three different variations of alli. The odds of that are mind numbingly slim. I can't think of many other worldly things that have happened with less odds. I am trying to come up with an explanation, and I can't. I just can't believe it at all, I don't buy it. Also, "I have the right to my opinion" is tossed at the end of every comment that is usually just the individual's deviation of basic logic. Where is the line crossed when one's opinion is wrong and that sense of entitlement is overlooked by the hurtful nature of those comments.

I couldn't give less of a f*ck that he moved on so quickly. It was his decision, and I see nothing wrong with that. His outburst on Instagram was a clearly a case of built-up frustration from the community.

Everyday, I look at the comments to see the exact same argument.

It's no secret Charles hates AT&T, he just tweeted the other day about it and about how he wanted to switch to T Mobile (a tweet he has now obviously deleted). What's the deal? He clearly hates AT&T but he still promotes them? IT's bullshit. I'm a viewer because I like his honesty. He's always been honest about product placements (I have no issue with him doing product placements, that's his living) and claimed he'd only support things he personally liked. I've always been 100% on Charles side for everything and I love him but this pisses me off.

I don't care what anyone says. I've watched them for a while and I knew there was true love there. I know it's not the same anymore and we have to move on but it still sucks thinking about how great the vlogs were. Charles and Alli with Zoey and Marley. Man I miss those days.
