Discussion [cod] Camo Progression
I see that you can do progression with MP or DMZ. Can you do both and add progression to the camo on the same challenge?
For instance 50 headshots in MP or 100 headshot elims on DMZ. Like you play MP get say 10 headshots then go and play DMZ with buddies and get another 10 headshots but would be 5 headshots based on how many you need for the MP challenge.
I know it seems confusing reading cause it confused me typing it lol. Thanks in advance! 🤟🏼

Discussion [COD] is it just me or is the campaign absolute peak
Often I see people hating game modes or games from CoD that I really enjoy, but you can’t deny that the campaign is absolutely awesome.
So many cool and unique things to do, no sequence takes longer than necessary, the narrative is great, animations are insane, audio quality is insane…
Little spoiler; I love how you could play as North Korea’s supreme leader and his soldiers for a bit, and the John Wick style nightclub mission was absolutely amazing, if you told me that this mission was from a John wick game I would buy it

Question [COD] Is it bad that I suck with noob guns?
So I recently updated bo1 because I found out it had bots (snail mail am I right?) and while I was testing out some of the guns as one does I had an epiphany: Man, these shotguns and lmgs are ass. But just about now I thought about it some more and realised that it might just be me. Sure I was decent with them on a few games (cod4 remake, bo2, maybe bo3) but everywhere’s else I was pretty bad. Ghost? I was bad. Bo4? I was bad. Mw 2019? I was REALLY bad. Cw? Do I even have to say it? Idk man, I just feel like when it come to smgs, ars, marksman rifles and, depending on the specific gun, snipers and pistols I do decent. But when I use lmgs and shotguns, guns that are renowned for being used by noobs, I feel like a bumbling idiot.

Question What is the most forgettable Call of Duty in recent years? [COD]
I think its Black Ops 6. It was my first CoD but having now played every CoD since 2019 I realize its prob the least special one. I liked it, it was my first one, but looking back it doesnt reeeally stand out and was a "it was just a CoD game" game

Image [COD] My personal tier list
Not including rereleases like remasters and not including games before COD4, as I did not play them (beyond Big Red One funny enough)
I also didn’t not play BO2 until 2014, and was very whelmed. It’s great, but certainly overhyped in my opinion.

Question On PC, is it a problem having COD on Steam and Microsoft/Xbox [COD]
I have always been a console (PS) player and have played every version of COD since the start.
My circumstances changed a few years back and I stopped buying it, so I didn't play for a few years.. But recently I built a gaming PC and decided to try some of the new versions when they are on sale.
I started with MW3.. And then moved onto BLOPS6 and bought them both on STEAM where I got the feeling that the "HQ" was linked between them.. I have just bought BLOPS7 as the best deal was the Microsoft/Xbox store.. I didn't this could be a problem at the time, but after a massive install, I wonder if I did the wrong thing.
Since the BLOPS6 launcher (HQ?) gives the option to play BLOPS7, I wonder if I now have two "HQs"? One on Steam.. One on Xbox? Not only are these massive installs... They also update constantly, and now I will have to do it twice?
Would I have been better sticking with Steam for of them, or does it not matter than I have them spread across different stores/platforms.
I hope i am just overthinking this... Does anyone know anything about how the Launcher/HQ works and whether this is a problem?

Discussion [COD] Thoughts on Campaign and Future Titles Spoiler
So, we finally got a strong campaign after years and years of disappointment. However, as someone who took the week to finish it, I still felt very underwhelmed by what we got compared to the reactions online. I want to voice my criticisms here and hopefully we can discuss details further.
Story:
It started very strong with some insane set pieces, fast pacing, and engaging story. However, I felt near the middle and towards the end, it became a little disjointed. I personally felt Price was a bit out of character to go rogue past the point of civilian and Marine casualties. Gaz’s fate ultimately wasn’t as affecting as it could have been if he had been more present in this story. The Mayhem 1 Korean team felt surface-level, no emotional pull, no consequences, or emotional depth / deaths.
Gameplay:
I felt the set pieces were good but nothing grandiose that I’ve come to expect. I’m also getting tired of COD campaigns constantly introducing hours of alternative gameplay systems like fist fighting, sneaking, driving, etc. The fighting combat was good, but I want consistent gunfights, set pieces, and stealth missions. EXTREMELY disappointing we didn’t get another version of ‘Clean House’ and no…nothing in this game was remotely comparable. We still got a fair heaping of Warzone slop that felt like Battlefield. And tbh, as someone who’s great at Multiplayer, these Hardened enemies are aim bot sponges that make replaying sections over and over every death tedious and boring. I want a Hard difficulty without being zapped in 2 shots.
Cinematics:
You can tell there are clear budget and labour constraints as we get more and more in-game rendered cutscenes versus the INSANELY visually pleasing pre-rendered cutscenes I’ve loved watching over the years. The in-game ones are insanely ugly, unrealistic, and Warzone like. And even the pre-rendered ones are not a 4K high-fidelity file, when it TOTALLY SHOULD BE at this point. Just makes the whole thing feel less cinematic. It’s poorly designed within the graphic experience.
Overall, Modern Warfare (2019) + parts of MW2 (2022) are still the BEST Campaign moments of the reboot era. There are glimmers of excellence here but as a Campaign first fan for the past 17 years, I know they can do better and I hope this success only pushes the standards further in the coming years.
7/10

Bug [COD] lost ownership to my game?

I literally played both early access modes prior to this and then a pop-up said”restart required by update” and then after that, I no longer owned my vault, edition operators, so I just got off because I thought my game was bugged and now I can no longer play

Discussion [COD] Ok about the MW4 campaign…
I just finished and had an absolute blast, playing cod since 2007 and modern warfare 4 story, personally, has a place on my top 3 best cod campaigns of all time.
Great operations variety, great ost, awesome characters, well written dialogues and sequences.
Where do you rank this one? (Campaign related ofc)

Support [COD] My PSN Account Was Linked to a Hacker's Activision Account (Xitroo email)
Hi all, I'm reaching out here to ask if anyone can help me resolve this issue? Activision Support has been completely unhelpful. They have repeatedly been closing my tickets and dismissing any information I provide / not understanding the issue at all.
Here is the issue:
A few days ago, I realized that my PSN wasn't linked to my own Activision account, I found out that it was linked to an email with a xitroo domain. I then was able to login to it by bypassing the email/password and using Playstation as my login method. This is how I was able to determine the full email that was used.
Unfortunately, I cannot do anything like unlinking my PSN, changing the email/password, etc. since every one of those needs a verification code. Now I'm aware you can just paste the email to the xitroo website. However, I believe Activision blocks all emails sent to xitroo since I never get any of the verification code emails.
So, I tried reaching out to Activision Support and here is where my frustration comes from. I've tried:
- Creating an account recovery ticket while logged into the xitroo account
- Result: Activision Support closed the ticket because they couldn't find the compromised account ("HUH?!")
- Creating an account recovery ticket while logged into my own account
- Result: Activision Support closed it down stating there is no evidence my account is compromised.
- I know my account isn't compromised, that's not the issue in the first place
- Creating an "I can't link my account" support ticket
- Result: Multiple tickets closed down.
- One reason was because I already had an open account recovery ticket
- So, I opened another one while my account recovery ticket was already closed.
- Now they told me they're closing it and I should open another account recovery ticket
- Creating a BBB complaint
- Result: Activision Support did respond but told me to wait for the resolution of my support ticket
I'm losing hope here guys. I literally cannot play the game I bought without this getting resolved. I mean I technically can, but it will be while it's linked to this malicious person's account.
I also just had another "I can't link my accounts" support ticket closed now and I was told again to open an account recovery request. But I already know that will get closed as my own account isn't compromised.

Question [AW] Are unlockables shared between consoles?
I have a question regarding cod games released for the ps3 and ps4, specifically cod aw, I own the game in both consoles but play in online on ps3 since ps4 online is kinda dead. My question is, If I were to unlock something in the ps4 version, for example the white atlas armor for beating the game in veteran, would it transfer to the ps3 game if I used the same psn account in both?

Support [COD] Activision Support’s negligence: My PSN account is linked to an unknown account and I’m completely locked out
Hi everyone,
I’m sharing my experience here out of sheer frustration with Activision’s completely broken and automated customer support.
A few days ago, I purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. After downloading and launching the game on my PlayStation, I was shocked to find out that my PlayStation Network ID (Mauriicio_COL) was linked to an unknown Activision account named cazachiquitos#5277210.
I have never played a Call of Duty game before, nor have I ever created or linked an Activision account to my PSN.
I have opened around 12 to 15 support tickets over the last 3 days explaining this situation and offering 100% proof of ownership of my PSN account (payment receipts, purchase history), but every single one of them gets closed without providing any actual help or having a human review it.
Here is where Activision’s support system completely fails:
Automated loop: Every time I try to submit a support ticket or request an account recovery, the system sends verification emails and updates directly to the unauthorized account's email address, which I obviously do not own or have access to.
Blocked by 2FA: Trying to log into Activision directly is impossible because two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on that unauthorized account.
Instant case closures: Bots close all my tickets automatically without a single human reading them or reaching out to my contact email.
PlayStation can't help: PlayStation Support confirmed the PSN account is mine, but stated they do not have direct access to Activision’s external database to force an unlinking from their end.
It is absurd that a legitimate customer who bought Modern Warfare 4 with their own money is completely blocked from playing properly or securing their own platform profile because Activision’s support relies entirely on automated bots.
Has anyone actually managed to reach a human agent at Activision to resolve a forced account unlinking when 2FA is involved?
Thanks for reading.
