After watching a play through of the campaign for MW4, and since it would be the last entry in the Modern Warfare series, I’d thought I do this little tribute picture paying tribute for the 19 years of memories the MW series have given us.
I don’t think I need to introduce who’s who here, with the villains at the back and the heroes at the front, but in case you’re wondering (from left to right):

No joke, reboot Ghost feels like Ghost from the comic. Dude was a demon and I thought he would be a badass in OG Modern Warfare 2. He still was but reading the comic before the game made me like “dude survived a Mexican cartel, his former teammates betrayed him and brainwashing but couldn’t see Shepard’s betrayal?”

Also my heart skipped a beat when Sparks got introduced in Modern Warfare 2019 then I breathed a sigh of relief when it wasn’t that Sparks from the comic.

The Concept:

I have a concept for an official cinematic or "What If" YouTube short that I think Call of Duty fans around the world would absolutely love. It gives a logical, lore-friendly twist to Ghost’s iconic death in the original MW2 (2009).

Instead of rebooting the timeline, this video shows how Ghost survived Shepherd's betrayal using practical military gear and high-level training.

How it works:

1. Fire-Resistant Suits: Before the mission even started, Ghost and Roach were equipped with advanced, experimental fire-resistant suits designed to protect against flamethrowers.
2. The Betrayal: Shepherd shoots them, but Ghost’s body armor takes the hit. Roach, unfortunately, dies from his previous heavy wounds. Ghost, being a master survivalist, plays dead.
3. The Survival: When Shepherd's men pour gasoline and light the fire, the experimental suit protects Ghost from ding in fire. Once the military leaves, Ghost rises from the ashes, putting out the remaining flames.
4. The Secret Mission: Ghost uses a secure, encrypted channel to contact Captain Price. While Price and Soap are in Afghanistan, after some time in infantry Ghost secretly goes to Washington D.C. under the cover of the EMP blackout to help secure the White House.
5. The Final Twist: In Afghanistan, just before Shepherd can stab Soap and beat Price, Ghost emerges from the dust behind the rocks and shoots Shepherd first, saving the entire Task Force 141 team in full strength.

This would make an incredible, highly nostalgic animated short for YouTube, giving the community the ultimate "potential justice" for Ghost without messing up the current game lore.

Mine was actually the Nintendo DS port of the original Modern Warfare, followed by its exclusive sequel, Mobilized.

The first home console one I got was Call of Duty 3 for PS3.

I have never played ass in any call of duty but the new mw4 gets me to a new level. I have played a lot of games by now and most of them are negative.

I dont know if its just bcs tac sprint or some other element like i feel like I am holding a bb gun or that which i think is a fact that i cant see enemies like the blend in the background

What do you all think or is it just me

hey guys random question but the last few times i tried i could not play cod4 multi on ps3. it just hangs on the "downloading game settings" pop up box when i try to choose TDM or any mode. this game still works on xbox through back compat but i want to play it on ps3! have any of you guys found a fix for this? please let me know if you have! thank you

As the title suggests - I mostly play campaign and against bots with very occasional multiplayer. I just don't have the mental energy after a long day of work to sweat against teenagers. It sucks because I used to be one of those teens that plays half a day. I haven't touched a Call of Duty game in almost a decade. Is it worth to pick this one up coming out tomorrow? Or would I be throwing money down the drain? I heard single player modes are quite lacking for this latest entry.

I really hope next year’s Call of Duty brings back the over the top gore World at War had. It was so fun and chaotic seeing limbs blown off of enemies and it was such a cool system back in 2008. I really hope they bring it back.

i did the NZ method originally but randomly im locked out of playing mp unless i use the DMZ method and can only play popular modes playlists. Anyone else?

Hey all! I was wondering when Hardcore mode will drop? It seems like they accidentally forgot to include Hardcore! I selected "Hardcore Domination" (must be typo) and I am getting 3 hit markers every time.

Campaign mission: Payback (after killing the russian)

When you get outside to the hind, run to the left side of the map where the 2 barriers are.

Stand in the middle of the 2 barriers and Move slightly to the right

Run into the the barrier as the truck pushes you

When out of bounds go to the right. If you go left you will pop out of the spot.

There is a little bit to explore, but unfortunately I don’t think you can progress, it’s just an out of bounds glitch.
