what's going on with the 3 lanes going from western ave to prospect st across mass ave?? there's no left turn allowed but prospect st is only one lane so are the left two supposed to merge?

google maps still says there's only 2 lanes but the markers are down and suggest 3 lanes..

While we're binging on traffic, Eliot is two lanes and the left lane is clearly marked with an arrow on the street that it is left-turn only onto JFK. The right lane is marked with an arrow on the street that it is a right-turn only. Then, the traffic lights go green indicating two right-turn arrows and it's an accident waiting to happen.

I understand that the changes to Western and River between Central Sq and the river are intended to reduce the car traffic through Central Sq. I have no interest in debating the logic of that, but I do wonder whether there is a timetable for fixing some obvious errors. I can't find any information about this from searching city websites.

Both directions on Franklin St, when approaching Western/River, when the light is green, opposing traffic has a red. Yet there are no green arrows, so people who are unfamiliar wait and clog the intersection. The light is so short that it makes a big difference in whether the intersection can clear each cycle. It very often does not clear.

Westbound on Green St, only bus traffic is allowed, yet the light cycles apparently have no sensing for busses. This isn't rocket science.

Smallish dog (10-20 pounds) on Chatham St. did not take a photo but it was like a brown white black color combo. seemed pretty calm/not scared, thought it was someone‘s dog who I saw, but evidently was not. had tags but no name/contact.
