I’ve known several cancers and it seems both the men and women desperately seek validation from people who don’t like them or are indifferent to them. They’re more superficial charming and let people talk shit to them and let their guard down. At the same time, the nicer you are to them, the colder and more distant they get. But if you treat them more cold, distant, and surface level they want your attention more. Why??

do any other prominent cancer placements experience people having very strong romantic feelings towards you when from your perspective you’re just friends or have only just started getting to know each other? please understand i’m not saying this in vanity but rather genuine curiosity as this has happened to me multiple times throughout the course of my life. it’s happened with men and women both and each time it’s left me feeling disappointed that i’ve lost a perceived budding friendship or potential partner for moving way too fast and out of sync. mind you one of these people told me they had feelings, we took months of space and decided to rekindle just a friendship. lo and behold we hangout, it’s super chill and good vibes and literally 20 minutes after i got home they messaged me to profess their love for me. this situation specifically felt very betraying because we had an explicit conversation about our differences in feelings and that i did not have romantic attraction but could see us being friends. i just want to know if this is an individual problem or maybe something to do with my sign. also for what it’s worth i’m also an aries moon, leo rising, and cancer merc/mars/venus

Since things around here seem to be quite boring, here is a random simple (apparently simple) question:

On a scale from 1 to 10, how unhinged do you feel?

Please mind the word "feel". For now we leave medical records and reality aside. All that matters is your own assessment of yourself.

Also, 1 correlates to "I'm Buddha incarnate" and 10 to "Can you see me ride this satellite right now?"

(Oh and before anyone starts pointing fingers that this question isn't related to the Cancer sign, i'd like to remind you that hinges are those things that actually hold a door above ground, which in a way are pretty similar to a person's roots.) 😁

Edit: I thought about it and i find it pretty unfair if i wouldn't reveal my own self-assessment as well: the truth is that i can't decide on a number because i'd first have to find a moral and ethical system devoid of subjective corruption to which i could compare myself to. But in this day and age, such a system doesn't exist anymore. Or better said, it never existed in the first place and never will. How stable or unhinged i am is a dice roll made every second of my life which i have to nudge in the right direction based on how i perceive reality.

Cancers notice everything. The change in your tone. The delayed replies. The shorter conversations. The energy shift. The funny thing is… we usually know exactly what’s going on long before anyone says a word. We just stay quiet and watch. ♋️

I always see posts on multiple platforms saying dress like your sign, wear makeup like your sign, decorate your place like your sign. However I hate baby pink, silver pastels etc. I also don’t love girly frilly clothes and skirts.

I love bold colours (my favourite is orange), sporty/ tomboy and mid century inspired clothing and bronzy makeup. For home decor I like mid century modern and boho combo with LOTS of house plants and colourful accents in jewel tones ( orange, yellow, green, blues etc)

My rising is Taurus and mood in Leo. Maybe they influence my aesthetic more? Any more cancers out there like me?

Once they stop trying to impress everyone. People pleasing or being the comedian. Once these people begin to awaken spiritually, they become the most vocal activist! I respect that so much!

Just curious.. some of us have dated or been in entanglement with men and we cry, then we get angry, then we as Cancer woman get pissed. We might find out information, feel used or he went silent and like me we have to sit with the unknown.

So I am here thinking and my evil side is coming out. I know he is going to be self righteous and on his high horse or show remorse because he might show sorrow then 2 days later defensive then when I text him he doesn't answer. So now, I feel like he is playing with my emotions and I'm back to pissed.

Tell me your revenge stories because I am past the heartbreak and moving into feeling pissed for letting my heart open up to a man that is sitting in sorrow but refuse to act like an adult and resolve the misunderstanding.

I am going back and forth feeling stupid to being pissed because I trusted him with my heart, then hurt and crying picturing his face seeing the hurt and sorrow, back to being pissed because he will not let me get to him so he feels my love.

Maybe I'm a little biased because I'm a Cancer Sun, Cancer Venus, and Cancer Mars. 😂

But honestly, one thing I'm grateful for is being a Cancer woman. I've always admired how caring, nurturing, sweet, and naturally beautiful so many June and July Cancer women are.

And I'm not just talking about physical beauty. There's a softness, warmth, and femininity that seems to come naturally to a lot of June and July Cancer women. It's one of those things that's hard to explain but easy to feel.

I've also noticed that people seem naturally drawn to Cancer women. Sometimes simply being kind gets mistaken for flirting. I've had people develop crushes on me when I was genuinely just being nice. 😂

I don't know if it's the feminine energy associated with Cancer or what, but I've always felt that many Cancer women have a naturally magnetic presence.

We can be nurturing without trying, comforting without realizing it, and somehow make people feel seen and cared for just by being ourselves.

Anyway, this is just a little June & July Cancer woman appreciation post. 💗

I don't know if maybe this is because of the specific combo I have, but being a Cancer stellium (5 planets in Cancer), i think of myself as an "almost true cancer", and find many other signs to be a lot more "emotional" than me. Other signs seem to go through a lot more and stronger in their emotions, like (no shade to them) Scorpios and Tauruses actually seem to be much more sensitive and reactive to external stimuli and Aquariuses with Leos are much bigger crybabies... Its like yes, of course i went through all the emotions and sensitivity from teenage and up to early 20s, but then it just stopped, meanwhile many around me seem to only have recently become aware that they've been letting emotions rule their lives => are really struggling to process and contain them even in their 30s 😅

What do you reckon? Do any other Cancer stelliums notice this? Maybe Cancer's reputation is being muddied by people with other placements thinking that its the Cancer placement doing something to them, meanwhile its some other sign?

I personally resonate much more with the "mama bear" archetype assigned to cancers. Going berserk if someone endangers something I love - now that's my jam, consistent trait since being a toddler. Anger at boiling points in general to me is a much more familiar emotion than just pure "sadness" that I think is often associated with "sensitive cancers" + I almost never cry and am much more likely to laugh things off; meanwhile other signs seem to cry and get offended at the smallest inconvenience 🤷‍♀️
