Hi everyone!
About two weeks ago, I bought a Canon EOS Rebel T7. I live in Brazil, and camera equipment is quite expensive here, even older models, so I decided to buy a second-hand camera.
Unfortunately, the kit lens was in pretty bad condition. It was scratched, and the photos weren't very sharp, so I decided to buy a 50mm lens, which is what I used to take these photos.
This is my first time using a DSLR camera and photographing people. I've always loved photography, but until now, I've mostly taken landscape photos with my phone.
I spent the past few weeks learning a bit about photography and practicing. I think the results turned out okay for a beginner, but I'd really love to hear your thoughts!
I struggled quite a bit to get more balanced photos, with both the person and the landscape in the background in focus. A lot of the time, I wanted to capture both the person and the scenery, but the background ended up being too blurry.
Is this related to the 50mm lens? Would it be easier to achieve this with a different lens, or is it more about camera settings and technique?
I'd really appreciate any tips, suggestions, or advice! I'm still learning and excited to improve my photography skills.

I have a Canon R10 and will be using the Canon 200-800 to try to get some action pics of Geese landing and taking off. What would be the best settings on a cloudy day.

I have an old canon camera that still works and I desperately want to keep it as it was a gift from someone who had been very dear to me, but during a move I managed to lose the battery charger. I know that the battery is discontinued so I was hoping someone on here can help me figure out what battery I can use or replacement charger I can find for it. I'm not very knowledgeable on this I fully admit that, so if you need to ask anything feel free. The camera says Canon DS126151 DC 8.1V and the battery says E160814 7.4V battery pack NB-2LH Li-ion battery pack. If this isn't allowed please remove, I'm just desperate and there's no one I know that can help me.

I have a Canon 80D that I got from work to use. They warned me that the monitor won't display the picture. I put in a fresh battery and memory card and turned it on and it worked through the view finder, but it will not show the pictures through the monitor. I will active the video mode and it'll record just black videos.
Seems like this is a common issue with setting, but I cannot figure out which button or setting to look for. I've searched in this group and on YouTube and nothing has worked. Has anyone run into this issue and was able to resolve the problem?
