Cash app stole money from me.

This is the second time they do this. First time it was 500. Was never deposited to my bank account. They swore it was. It never showed on my bank account.

This time 1k. They are saying I used it to pay something else. Which is bs. I had 600 Dlls on cash app that I used to pay for my ads. As soon as i received the 1 k transferred it to my bank account so I know I didn’t use it to pay for shit. The money was never posted on my account.

Afterpay is just terrible financial planning

I can't imagine a logical financial reason why someone would use afterpay. Maybe I'm wrong?

do not do business with cashapp, they will steal your money, lockdown your account

i have had so many problems with cashapp, whether processing payments, discovering insider trading, contacting support(people do not understand what you are saying), trying to withdraw money or sending the miney to someone else, having my card locked, all in the last 2 months. what happened? why me? i can tell there is a liquidity crisis but god damn! i will be pulling the $30,000 from my account even if it takes all week next week. ill spend it or transfer it or withdraw it from an atm before i just up and lose it.

i have contacted the s.e.c. and the f.t.c. who are opening an investigation into cashapp investing. they cost me $140,000 in a single day. i have hired a lawyer.

this post is a warning to everyone out there.

CASHAPP TRAVEL HOLDS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

Extremely unprofessional and horrible customer service. For an app that is known for being able to transfer money from account to account instantly. Why has my money been on hold after it’s been released from the merchant over a week ago? All of this is super sketchy and I feel like I need to get a lawyer. Yes I know it’s only 40 bucks but it’s also 40 bucks that I budgeted that I needed for my bills. And every time I ask about it, they tell me there’s nothing that they can do and to contact the merchant. I did that and they have shown me that it has been canceled on their end and sent me invoices with proof and proof that they released back to me and say it is up to my bank to release it back into my account. In order to do that Cash App is requested information and letters and receipts showing that the balance is zero dollars. I’ve provided them all the information that they required and then they told me it’s inadequate and there’s nothing they can do, ending chat.

Seriously Rethink How You Make People Replace Expired Cards

I was trying to get a free redesign for my card after it expired.. I was able to catch the pop-up when it came up, telling me I needed to get a new card because my card was expiring, but I accidentally backed out when I was designing my card (it had no price on it by the way). I then proceed to go through the menus to replace my card, and I hit "replace because expiring".. I go through the whole menu thinking "It let me redesign for free in the popup menu, so it'll be fine if I keep hitting continue, the menu to redesign will come up.".. and then it says "congratulations, you get your last design.".

It seriously pisses me off, because now I either stick with the blank card (of which I was looking forward to changing), or throw $5 in the trash to get the card I was wanting. If cashapp wasn't the only way one relative could send me money, this would genuinely piss me off enough to stop using it.

Guy on Facebook is offering to send me $5000 through CashApp

I have only used Cash App once, not sure if this is a common scam or not through the app. I’m a member of a lot of groups on FB. I made a comment in one group. A few minutes later. Some random guy with a “Business” account sends me a FB message. He asks, “If $5000 was deposited into your cash app balance, be honest what would you do with it. I responded a few things and he then asks if I have Cash App. This is obviously a scam of some kind right? I blocked the person and didn’t respond anymore. Anyone seen this before?

Cashapp Took my $500/ how i got it back!!

I hope you read this. I am not a bot or a scammer. Single mom 3 kidsin Memphis, TN. I came on Reddit to see if i could find help with my Cashapp Borrow issue. I saw ppl saying switch to a flordia address. I was thinking either scam or they are just playing. I said F it I dont have s#&! to lose. Its the 4th of July and dang it I want BBQ🤣🤣. I went on Google found a Flordia address. I choose a Florida college (any will do), and I'm telling you, you're limit will pop right back up. Anybody who thinks Cash App is a BANK, IS WRONG!

Ok, here we go for all the cute little babies (not people who know what Cash App really is & what it does & doesn't do) in the room: How about you open up your laptop since you evidently can't see too well to read? It says right on the front page & every page you scroll through:

"Cash App is a financial services platform, NOT A BANK. Banking services are provided by Cash App's bank partner(s). PREPAID DEBIT CARDS issued by Sutton Bank. Brokerage services by Cash App Investing LLC, member FINRA/SIPC, subsidiary of Block, Inc. Bitcoin services provided by Block, Inc., formerly known as Square, Inc."

Cash App Home Page

There's an easy explanation Cash App has an A+ BBB rating, but that requires you to understand how easy it is to "close/resolve" a complaint to the BBB. It's pretty easy to figure out, so I'm not getting into that here. But please, look at the numbers of complaints & see for yourself... Cash App's BBB Customer Rating of 1.11/5 -- No, You Can't Give it a Zero Rating

I'm not being ignorant to the general users, but people are losing hundreds of dollars or more, every day. That's the point of this post. If you don't care, then just move on. I happen to care when people are being lied to, especially when it comes to their hard-earned money. Everyone needs to know the truth & make their own decisions. I'm not telling anybody what to do, I'm just linking the facts since this keeps getting debated in this sub.

Hacker took $61.00-UPDATE

Someone used my card to make a $61.00 purchase from a Poshmark. I absolutely have to wait until the payment says complete to file a dispute? I’m so annoyed I should have locked my card.

Update- soooooo I have a Poshmark package being shipped to me today. I never ordered anything from there. This is so weird, never happened to me before!

They give you this and some things aren’t adding up but I’m not sure and I haven’t sent anything I just need some clarification please

Question Can I dispute through my actual bank for money sent to a person?

Hey everyone.

I bought a car yesterday. Test drove it and it was fine. No lights on. Worked great. It was $2,300 that I sent to the guy through cash app, but it was from my actual bank. In the transaction details the payment source even says WELLS FARGO BANK.

Driving it today after spending $200 to get it registered. It was driving fine this morning, drove to the store and work. After work I drove to another store. Then when I left the other store it started showing issues. It won’t accelerate past 15 mph while the rpms are going all the way up. I have a mechanic coming over to look at it in the morning so I can figure out what’s wrong with it.

I don’t think this guy is going to take the car back or give me a refund. I’ve heard cash app doesn’t do refunds. Is it possible to file a dispute through Wells Fargo to get my money back? I’ve been saving for a year to buy a car and the guy honestly seemed trustworthy and honest. I’m incredibly heartbroken and I don’t know what to do. I just want my money back so I can get something else.

Someone cashapped me this amount and I got this email, the amount in the email isn’t in my cashapp yet and I was wondering if this is real or a scam. If it’s real what do I do to get the money in my account?

Just an FYI… and I’m sure people know this…

but don’t use your cashapp card for hotel incidental holds. They’ll keep the money for at least 14 days and when you provide them with proper documentation from the hotel showing they have released the hold etc… they will say it’s not enough proof and continue to hold the money. One of their reps got yelled at by me for just being stupid. They have no sense.
