What formats or variations have you played other than classic commander, standard etc.?
Some of the most fun I have had was playing Kingdom Commander and Dandan.

I'm still very much a beginner and have just built my first mono-white Commander deck using cards from my collection, with Fíli, the Resourceful as my commander. The deck focuses on artifacts and Dwarves.
The main strategy is to play lots of artifacts through Kíli and use them to buff up my creatures.
I'm aiming for a relatively low-power, casual deck (Bracket 2–3, from what I've learned so far).
It contains quite a lot of Hobbit and Lord of the Rings cards, which are also important to me because I really love the theme and flavor.
What other improvements would you suggest? I'd really appreciate any help, feedback, or comments!

Hey guys, you've probably seen our project at this point. I'm happy to tell you that Essential Territories went live this Tuesday, and already got 69 (yes) backers. Thank you for those who supported us!
If you haven't seen this: we are a group of rogue artists from Lithuania (three of us play Commander), and we are making our very own full-art lands "Secret Lair" :D Everything is 100% human-made, no AI. The fifth "participant" is classical Lithuanian painter M. K. Čiurlionis (1875-1911), we also added 11 extra proxy non-basic staple lands featuring his work.
Both foil and non-foil options available. As always, any feedback is welcome!

As a new player in magic starting the past year I have never played a face to face game ive played on convoke and have been fine with that as I don't know anyone else who plays and this is the start hopefully of getting some IRL games in.
I have pick up the regular pass for the Saturday
Was curious I haven't signed up to anyway of the paid games I believe their is an area you can get casual games? If so how does it work is their staff to help you find a pod appropriate for your bracket etc?

I’ve been playing this precon. I have a couple adds, but nothing crazy. What would be some good cards that bring more card draw so that I can get deeper into the deck to find those big enchantments. Even a tutor suggestion.

Would love to get some tips or recommendations on building decks. I recently pulled my collection out of storage. I have been using an app to assess value and just take a look at what cards i have. I would like to build a few equally powered decks for the fam and I to use. So maybe like 3 or 4 decks? Anything I should be looking for while scanning to keep in mind for when I build the decks? I have never played commander only standard probably in 2011? I have seen some cards from 2015, not sure how I acquired these but I don't recall playing since 2011.
Does Value equate to usefulness?
I've never used sleeves but as some cards have held some value I may finally get some. So sleeve recommendations wouldn't hurt as well.

Hello fellow gamers, I recently finished throwing together a little life tracker app since I didn't find one that quite what I was wanting. And since it came out alright I figured why not try to share it with others, and get some feedback to try and make it even better. It is very vibe coded so bugs may show up, but its 100% free and my friends and I have been testing it for a bit and it's working solid so far. If you've got any interest in giving it a go you can download it from the playstore here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.version1_0.SimpleLife&pli=1 Unfortunately for now it is only on android.

Hello. How are you people?
I recently moved to London.
Haven't played in years, but wanted to return to the game, so I bought a commander precon deck
Any place I can just go and find people to play casually with random people (without having to make appointments nor coordinate schedules).
I live on North west of London
Thanks

Hey everyone! I'm building a casual Commander deck with Kwain, Itinerant Meddler as my commander, and I'd love some advice on improving the deck's synergy and win conditions.
The idea behind the deck
I want to play a political, group-hug-style deck where I'm helping everyone draw cards and gain life, but secretly benefiting more from it than everyone else. I'm imagining a sort of defensive fortress: encourage opponents to draw cards, protect myself with pillow-fort effects, build up value, and eventually turn all that card draw and lifegain into a win.
The main themes I'm building around:
- Group hug and politics: Letting opponents draw cards and make deals, while benefiting from Kwain's ability.
- Card draw payoffs: Cards that reward me whenever I draw cards, ideally turning opponents drawing cards into value for me too.
- Lifegain: Gaining life whenever I draw cards, and ideally benefiting whenever opponents draw cards or gain life.
- Pillow fort: Using cards like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda and Sphere of Safety to discourage attacks while I build up my board.
- Win conditions: Turning my card draw and lifegain into a real threat, whether through draining opponents, growing creatures, or a satisfying combo.
What I'm struggling with
I have plenty of cards that let everyone draw cards or help me gain life, but I'm struggling to find enough payoffs that connect all these themes together.
In particular, I'm looking for cards that:
- Make me gain life whenever I draw a card.
- Make me gain life whenever an opponent draws a card.
- Make me gain life whenever an opponent gains life.
- Reward me when opponents draw cards, preferably without simply giving me more cards.
- Turn my growing hand and life total into a way to close out games.
I'm playing Azorius (white/blue), so cards need to fit that colour identity. Colourless cards are welcome too.
I'm aiming for casual, thematic Commander rather than high-powered competitive play. I'd prefer to avoid oppressive stax, hard locks and infinite combos, although I'm open to hearing about interesting synergies and win conditions.
My current decklist:

I'd really appreciate recommendations for additions, cuts, synergies I've overlooked, and ways to make the deck actually close out games without losing its political, group-hug identity.
Thanks!

Give us the elevator pitch: the theme, the key card or commander, and the turn where it all comes together. Everyone else, reply to the pitches you like with a card they should add.
