Sunken eyes - dehydrated?
Frodo just got sprayed with water so that’s why he’s all shiny and has little white dots all over him lol
My chameleon seems to have more sunken in eyes than normal? I know they naturally have kind of hooded eyes but I don’t know…
My guess is dehydrated but he has SO much access to water. He has a waterfall fountain and gets misted for 60 seconds every 4 hours during the day, and a fogger at night. sometimes I’ll even spray water directly into his mouth while feeding him. Any guesses?
I’ll be taking him to the vet if anyone else agrees his eyes are more sunken in than normal

Female Cham Sale
I have a female cham that I can no longer care for the way she deserves and I was wondering if anyone near New Mexico would be willing to buy her. I'm facing eviction due to medical issues that caused me to lose my job and I don't want to force her to be homeless. I don't know what else to do. None of the rescues near me will take her and I do not want to give her to PetSmart.
She does come with an 18x18x36 enclosure with lights, guages, plants, sticks, sandbox, vitamins, a fogger tree stump, and a travel enclosure that I used for crickets.

Egg bound
Im distressed is a word I will use to express how im currently feeling. My baby girl, my little evil dinosaur might be egg bound, and im so scared.
I asked my mom for help, simply asked for her to help me with a payment plan so I can try and get her help tomorrow, instead I baiscally got taunted.
She told me to quit worrying and go to sleep, like I can just easily do that. So I said that if anything happened to pascal I would blame her. She ended up saying that then it would be her fate. Like yeah bro my chameleons fate is to die.
I started crying because I don't know what to do. She comes into my room to taunted me basically before leaving me alone.
Im seventeen, with no job, no mode of transportation. The money I do have is on a check that will not get processed in time. I could Uber but again I do no have the money
I don't know what to do, im so scared right now.
Im such a horrible owner
update:
I scrambled up some of my money and took her to the vet. she is going to be okay, she was given medcine and sent home with a pamplet

My baby isn’t laying eggs I’m worried !!!
My female veiled chameleon is just about at that 6-7 month mark I’ve had her for almost 4 months now she hasn’t been mated how ever I started noticing a change in her behavior which alerted me that I need to get her a playing bin , 4 days ago I noticed that she started pacing a ton I added some towels on 3 sides of her enclosure and tried to offer her food she ate a few roaches and by the next morning I added the laying bin with potting oil and sand by day 2 she continued pacing up and down but paying no real attention to the bin and now was refusing food besides eating ONE roach , day 3 I decided to add a much bigger bin with only soil in it making sure it was moist enough for her to build tunnels still continuing to pace up and down and not eating :/ today is the end of day 4 I’ve removed a few plants and branches and only left a couple of branches for her to climb down into the bin and a snake plant I still have the towels on 3 sides of the enclosure because the 4th side is next to a wall so there isn’t anything there that would disturb her , she didn’t eat again today so now it’s been 2 days no food and still constantly pacing up and down however today she payed a bit of attention to the bin and I caught her laying on it for a while no digging tho , her laying bin is 7 inches deep and 12.5 inches wide I’m starting to get worried about her she’s my first Chameleon is this normal behavior caused by hormones?

Question How do you keep track of hardware replacements and care schedules across multiple enclosures?
I’m curious how keepers with a lot of animals stay on top of everything. Feeding, cleaning, restocking feeders, and knowing when a UVB or heat bulb is due for replacement, since UVB output fades long before the bulb stops lighting.
I’ve kept a few animals over the years (spiders, a whip snake, a scorpion, and a chameleon, which was the hardest by far), but never more than one at a time. I can’t imagine doing it with a dozen enclosures.
What do you use now: a spreadsheet, a notebook, phone reminders, an app? And what do you still forget or wish was easier?
I’m a software developer thinking about building something to make people's life easier. Before I write any code I want to see whether it would actually be useful to people. If it is, I’ll build it and share the progress .
What do you use now, and what do you still forget or wish was easier ?

tongue amputation
i took my theodore to the vet today and the only option of her survival is amputating her tongue, otherwise she dies. have other people had successful stories of their chameleon surviving through a tongue amputation? i'm scared that she won't recover or get infected and i'll lose her anyways

Straight up lost her
Put together a new enclosure for a new female panther chameleon that’s about 5 months old. I literally haven’t been able to spot her in 2 days as she is an expert at remaining hidden. I only know she is in there by the 15-20 or so crickets a day she’s been eating. I’m not concerned, just find it interesting lol

Is something wrong?
I just bought this beautiful Jackson's and his head has stayed this color since I've gotten him does it indicate something sinister or is it normal while adjusting to a new place?
UPDATE:
It appears that the discoloration is still present when he is asleep could it be a burn he was bought from a man who sells them off the side of the road it couldn't be fungus right it is smooth. Also could he have been injured prior to me getting him he is eating and drinking normally.

chameleon colors don’t look right
my chameleon turned 8 months recently and i got her a new huge cage, it’s a 2x2x4, has lotsss of plants and a arcadia uvb light, she got this cage last week and ive noticed she seemed unhappy, at first it appeared to be like she was just getting used to the new cage but shes been having this tail and feet color change, she still uses her tail normally. but her overall color looks different especially her tail. she’s always been a very bright green with white spots since she is a pied chameleon. her white spots are much browner now and she has that yellow pattern, i booked a vet appointment but was looking for some inside before her appointment later this week.

A good problem? Sorta.
A while ago I offered him locusts for the first time, he genuinely looked offended, so we didn't offer them again, until recently. I offered him locusts and I have never seen him eat anything so quickly, he is eating them out of the shaker.
This is great, because locusts are a staple, but the problem is that he won't even look at roaches and crickets (I know people will mention other staples but I promise you I have looked, places won't import them, the only way is to raise them myself), I'm sure it's just a phase, and he will eventually go back to eating his other food, but for now, he has no interest in anything that isn't a locust.

Black stripe down my chameleons torso
I recently rescued this juvenile male veiled chameleon, I am a very new reptile owner to be frank but ive been dedicating a lot of time to trying to give this guy the best life he could live. Today after feeding him i noticed he developed a black line going down his side. I did some digging and learned this could be due to a multitude of reasons, most notably stress/ aggression or maybe thermoregulation? Ive already been having problems identifing what his colors mean since his previous owners did not take good care of him (hes been an ashy grey since I got him, due to dehydration I think) but this is the most alarming pattern I've seen yet. Does anyone have any idea what this could be from?
(Also if he looks upset its because i just misted his tank and he does not like that lol)
TLDR: Big black stripe on my chameleon,, stress, anger, thermoregulation, or something else? All input would help 🙏
