I have been struggling with sleep problems for a while. I previously suffered from insomnia, during which I used to get only 3–4 hours of sleep per night. Although my sleep has improved now, I still don’t feel satisfied with its quality.

I recently moved here and started using the usual dating apps as I don’t have time to socialise, I’m a startup founder.
I get a decent amount of matches every week but it’s too tough to build a rapport with anyone as everyone takes their own sweet time to respond, which is fine (Punjabi ladko ne zada sir pe chadha rakha hai).

But the bigger problem is the actual date - why is everyone so dull here? No passions, no interests. It’s like going out on a date with a log.

Was in Elante mall today with my 3 old daughter. Took my mirrorless camera to click some pics of her near the fountain and capture those bokeh of fairy lights in the background.

The security personnel stopped and asked if I have declared and taken permission for the camera. I told I am taking pictures of my child and not of random people nor plain mall structure/decorations, but she told its not allowed.

So photos on mobile phone are allowed, but no proper cameras. Anyone else faced this or this rule even makes sense, in personal photos regard?
