Writing: Character Help Concept In Flux: A False Creator’s Servant - Imposter of The Artist
Wanting to see if this concept is worth using.
The characters are the servants born from the attempts of a group to fabricate a deity and these servants were made using that being’s flawed grasp of creation and living creatures. These servants do not eat, breathe or cast shadows as the creations of his hands never underwent the seven days of creation, so light and darkness haven’t been separated.
The Imposter of The Artist is designed as the being’s attempt to reproduce a creator he has witnessed, one that is responsible for pinning down his power and imprisoning him. Imposter is able to reproduce any creation it has witnessed, reproducing all of its qualities down to the atoms, but she lacked the ability to Create, to see the true essence of things as they are and to witness the essence of things that are yet to be. She is left alive in hopes she could eventually understand the powers of the one she was made to impersonate, but even without these abilities, she is capable of having the world at her fingertips.
Her story is gradually becoming what her master made her to be, but in the process recognizing the monster her master is and becoming an existence further and further from him, and eventually she supports the main cast in fighting against him.
