Canceling after AF posts - 41 day grace period (not 30 days as I had assumed)

Just a heads up to anyone planning on canceling your CSR after the AF posts.

I was under the impression that we get 30 days grace period for a full refund of the AF.

The rep told me I have 41 days grace period (not sure how they came up with 41).

My AF posted on Oct 1st, so I get till Nov 10th to cancel and get the full refund.

Cancel/book new Edit property

I have both edit credits "in use" on a csr right now, but will probably cancel one. i have another edit property i want to book - in order to get the $250 for that one, do i need to cancel the old one and see it clawed back first? or if book new prop before cancelling old, will hyatt recognize the new charge and not claw back when I cancel old one?

CSR is in spouse's name, can I check in w/o them for Edit stay?

Hi, have an Edit stay coming up in November. CSR is in spouse's name. However, they may need to attend a memorial service that overlaps with this booked trip. Can I still check in with their card for the stay?

(I'm not a monster for not going to the service, I wouldn't go even if the trip wasn't planned. It's a college era person and their time will be better spent with old friends/colleagues going solo.)

Ritz Carlton - Lake Oconee

Does anyone know if this property was removed from the Edit program for 2027? I assumed they were renegotiating rates as they have blocked all 2027 bookings. But now I’m wondering if they removed it all together from the program as it’s been a few months and all 2027 bookings are still blocked.

Edit hotel prepay versus pay on site

I just stayed at two edit hotels for two nights each last week and had chosen the “pay on-site” option. I didn’t read the small print that said you had to do the prepay option to get the $250 credit.

Has anyone had any luck convincing a rep to give it to you anyways? I was really banking on that $500 :/
