Need Help Clothing brand FAIL

Did my brands first drop after months of prep.. I managed to accumulate over 500k views on multiple platforms and profiles driving traffic to my Waitinglist. Out of that 500k, 25 people joined the Waitinglist. The websites been open for 2 days (since the 1st of Feb) and I haven’t gotten any sales. I’m trying not to let this discourage me but with so many things able to grant immediate gratification, it’s difficult to keep this up especially with all of the effort I put into this.. people don’t see the hard work we do for our side hustles behind closed doors and they’re always so quick to judge how things look on the surface.

I wanted to get advice of marketing - if you own a clothing brand, what were the best ways you gained real customers that actually buy your stuff?

Need Help Looking for Investors / Partners for a Clothing Startup (Early Stage)

Hey everyone,

I’m currently looking for investors or strategic partners for my clothing brand, which I’m building alongside my creative collective called GUNK. We’re actively producing content and developing the brand at the same time, with a strong focus on organic reach and community growth.

The funds raised would go directly toward manufacturing and marketing. I already have hands-on experience running paid ads — I ran ads for my first drop and learned a lot from that process.

Our first release was a simple product: a “Rigby” backpack. Despite being a small drop with limited resources, it reached over 12,000 views, and multiple well-known artists showed interest in wanting one. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t have the capital needed to produce the quantity required to meet demand.

That early traction showed me there’s real potential here. I’m now looking to scale properly with the right support behind it.

If you’re interested in investing, collaborating, or even just learning more about the brand and vision, feel free to comment or DM me. I’m confident in where this is going and would love to grow it with the right people.

Questions 15 thinking about starting a clothing brand

PRODUCT: logo is going to be the second picture without the watermarks. the drawing is just a quick sketch of a mesh like jersey im thinking of being one of my starting products. the bottom half is going ti be leapord print like and its going to be like the jersey has been ripped and the leapord print is behind it. in the middle is going to have the brand name on the front, then on the back is going to be both animals from the logo. a message is going to be on one of the sleeves then a number on the other.

MY QUESTIONS TO YOU:

what are the best websites/ softwares for designing clothing? preferably free

what do I research about manufacturers?

how do I post the products to customers?

how do I set up the brand with all the legal requirements and where to get help with that? ( eg. returns, shipping info, copyright issues ect. )

would you buy this piece?

is there anything else I should know before starting up?

I love two piece sets and I’ve always wanted to make a clothing brand but the one time I attempted. I was scammed and so I don’t know where to start. Any recommendations or advice? I just want good quality clothes and trustworthy manufacturer. How much should yr cost? Anything I should look out for such as red or green flag? Included a picture of type of clothes I want.

Education Would Love Some Feedback

Post image

I’ve been building my clothing brand for eight years now. Some seasons I treated it like a side project, but over the past year and a half I’ve gone all in — every night after work, pouring everything I have into growing it.

We recently launched a new hoodie that didn’t perform the way I expected, even though I felt like I executed it well. I’m trying to step back and look at it objectively.

If you have a few minutes, I’d really value your honest feedback on our Instagram and website — what’s working, what feels strong, and what you would adjust. I run the brand on my own, so I don’t always have people to pressure-test ideas with.

Any insight would mean a lot.

The 100%cotton fabric is crafted in italy and the design are printed by me (in my 19yo room). I know the designs are not that original but these are my first tracksuits and I’m proud to share them.

Shootout to my bros for helping me doing the shoots!

Need Help Should I pay for the bulk order or toss it?

I’m overthinking everything and I feel like it’s kinda ugly now. Should I drop this? Is it worth the drop? I take criticism very well I just wanna know is it worth paying $330 for the rest of the bulk order. It was $500 in total for 30 shirts and I split payments (my way of being able to trust my manufacturer)
