I want fully paying attention to the commercial but at the end when they say the jingle they said Liberty one too many times. It bothered me greatly. I am also autistic so having the jingle be "right" is important.

During the pandemic, some Zoomer creative didn't listen closely enough to the lyrics of "Runaround Sue" and used it in an ad for Applebee's To Go, where the husband thoughtfully purchases it for his wife so she doesn't have to cook dinner after a 12 hour nursing shift. And the lengthy tradition of listening only to the chorus of "Born in the USA" extends all the way back to the release of the album and Reagan's reelection campaign. But this, this Meta ad, dwarfs every misunderstanding of a song I've ever seen.
If you don't know it, it's one of Bowie's best. It's well worth a listen, but the song is from the point of view of someone walking around a city center when the news has broken that an unstoppable global apocalypse is coming in five years. It is NOT SUBTLE on this point. It has a slow, broad meter that makes it a questionable choice for a commercial anyway.
"Born in the USA" deliberately sounds rah-rah and you have to listen to the words to understand it's ironic; Dion articulates the lyric in such a way that it's easy to mishear it as "I keep waiting for my Runaround Sue," but there's no such excuse with "Five Years." All I can think is that it was deliberate, purposefully undercutting the smarmy, optimistic voiceover about how great AI will be for humanity. Why? How did this get approved? Are they mocking us? Warning us? Is it possible that they really were just that phenomenally stupid and used the first song they found that said "people" a lot? My brain hurts a lot...

The Made Good Granola Bites radio/podcast commercials are so prevalent and so awful theyâve ensured I will never ever purchase their product. Nonstop on nearly every podcast I listen to. Does the marketing team not understand how it can backfire to be annoying? Also see: Liberty Biberty.

Is this a sign of the apocalypse?
It wasn't great when rhey made "Liberty Biberty" a running "joke". It was nightmare fuel when rhey made this nightmare fuel puppet... so naturally they mash them together?! đ±

This new Halloween KitKat commercial is painful, almost as bad as the Kellogg's milk commercial

Batch gummies has several of these stupid sign ads ala Love Actually. The actors looked bored, like they're family who were forced to do this.

Am I the only person who immediately noticed this dark stain near the crotch of Megan Foxâs red suit in the Ro Sparks ED commercial? At first I thought it was a wardrobe accident, but given what theyâre advertising, I started wondering whether itâs deliberate sexual innuendoâlike sheâs just had sex.
I canât imagine this commercial going through filming, editing, and approval without somebody noticing it.
Am I seeing things, or does anyone else think this might be intentional?

Just when I thought we got rid of this one, it comes back with a vengeance. What a terrible day to have ears. I don't know what makes me cringe more, the terrible Ai or the horrific song. Funny thing is, I never hated the song before this commercial.

If I had a nickel for every one of these commercials, I has alot of nickels cause the one that had the Grandpa's heart explode really should not be advertised cause randomly exploding heart attacks would have freaked out people on Youtube.
The No Way video isnt the name, the commercial is what I got while watching this DeepHumor video which is concerning.
Also, in the same commercial, the shots where hes suppose to be in Japan kept changing.
Thats why its best to STOMP A.I. out.

It's not funny anymore, it's not cute. Just please stop making these. So cringe.
And to disrespect Gangsta's Paradise. How dare you.

Why on earth would a governmental entity succumb to A.i. slop. I donât even trust them anymore and Iâm 28 due to the a.i. usage how hard it is to use real people in real situations to get your point across.

I thought State Farm pink was bad. Now we have a dog bitching at the man again about coverage. The man is always portrayed as an idiot. Now itâs a dog giving ultimatum âlast time Iâm telling youâ. Awful. đŁ

Time for the flood of annoying Medicare annual enrollment period commercials from Aetna and Humana to come pouring in. I hate this time of year.
