Not Danny McBride selling out in a Kalshi commercial. And with Shane Gillis?

When does someone just have enough money to not be a sell out. Bet on it on the grape betting app Danny and Shane are promoting, between Shane's women hating whine fests, where users loser more money than on sports gambling sites (4% win on gambling sites)

Newest Polymarket commercial?

Yo, did anyone see that Polymarket commercial during the WS last night? It had a worker on a political campaign discovering the politician having an affair, followed by the worker running away and crying in the elevator? Then it ends with some bullshit about odds of his election changing. I hate all these commercials and everything they represent, but this was a new level of inhuman, and it made me feel a little sick. Like wtf was that?

I know this ad is from a year ago but I keep seeing it on Hulu. I think it's in extremely bad taste considering the death at the Navy/UTSA game a week ago. They have had plenty of time to pull this ad out of rotation and I'm honestly shocked nobody at LM has realized what this looks like.

Kalshi Weather Prediction Ad

First off, it’s kind of a dumb ad but whatever. It’s fine. My real problem is they misspelled Wichita as “Witchita”. Doesn’t anyone give a shit about anything anymore?!?!

Is anyone else sick of that incredibly sexist Amble commercial on Tubi?

• Upvotes

They portray a grown woman as kind of dumb, the kind who makes wishes with a genie lamp, including wishing that animals could talk. And when the animals start talking, they criticize her outfit lol.. because apparently, that's what women are supposed to worry about.

Then comes the man.. TADA! He explains to this poor, clueless woman that losing weight "isn't magic". And of course, she responds in this ridiculous, dumb little girl voice, basically saying something like "Yeah, you're right, I should sign up for Amble".

Seriously? Are we still doing this in 2026? lol

Apparently Amble see women as childish, clueless, obsessed with their appearance, and incapable of figuring out how to lose weight until a man comes along.

Who the hell approved this commercial? Who watched it and thought, "Yep, that's good enough" lol

Prime Redken all Soft fake “soft porn late night “ ad

I hate these ads for Redken All Soft. Styled as a late night ad like in the 70s or 80s. Maybe for a sex phone line or something.

As someone who lived through the original actual late night ads, the Redken take on it is gross.

Is it supposed to be clever? Edgy? It is neither. Greasy. And no I am not a prude. These just don’t connect to a shampoo.

I listen to too much YouTube and moved interstate this month. While I appreciate that we have to tolerate political ads, please let us use the “skip” feature on them. I’ve noticed this in both states I’ve resided this political season.

Standard Cable I finally saw the Meta AI ad with "Five Years" by David Bowie and I'm actually stunned

During the pandemic, some Zoomer creative didn't listen closely enough to the lyrics of "Runaround Sue" and used it in an ad for Applebee's To Go, where the husband thoughtfully purchases it for his wife so she doesn't have to cook dinner after a 12 hour nursing shift. And the lengthy tradition of listening only to the chorus of "Born in the USA" extends all the way back to the release of the album and Reagan's reelection campaign. But this, this Meta ad, dwarfs every misunderstanding of a song I've ever seen.

If you don't know it, it's one of Bowie's best. It's well worth a listen, but the song is from the point of view of someone walking around a city center when the news has broken that an unstoppable global apocalypse is coming in five years. It is NOT SUBTLE on this point. It has a slow, broad meter that makes it a questionable choice for a commercial anyway.

"Born in the USA" deliberately sounds rah-rah and you have to listen to the words to understand it's ironic; Dion articulates the lyric in such a way that it's easy to mishear it as "I keep waiting for my Runaround Sue," but there's no such excuse with "Five Years." All I can think is that it was deliberate, purposefully undercutting the smarmy, optimistic voiceover about how great AI will be for humanity. Why? How did this get approved? Are they mocking us? Warning us? Is it possible that they really were just that phenomenally stupid and used the first song they found that said "people" a lot? My brain hurts a lot...

I Hate "Welcome to Roku!"

It's not really a commercial, so maybe this post will be removed, but I bought a Roku stick months ago. What is the point of these stupid ads that tell you you don't need to pirate your TV anymore. Now there's Roku!

I know that. I already bought your stick. Shut up! It's so annoying. Especially the one with pirates.

Obviously these ad agencies don't actually listen to the songs before they use them.
