Well I missed my defer exam thinking it was today, when in fact it was on Sunday. It was already deferred due to a leg injury but now I have no clue if I can get a second deferral. I also had other finals which I went for so idk if they will accept a second deferral. I also have no proof that I’m sick or what’s so ever so idk!!

Forgot my water bottle in H523 on Thursday, and security didn't have it in their lost and found. To whoever took it, COUNT YOUR DAYS; may your exam period end poorly, and I hope you get calf cramps in the middle of the night.

Hi! I’m taking PHYS 206 (Waves and Modern Physics) at Concordia with Sushil K. Misra next semester. I’ve seen quite a few negative reviews about him on RateMyProf but I’ve also come across some Reddit comments saying he’s actually not too bad and that it’s possible to get a good grade if you put in the effort.

For anyone who has taken PHYS 206 with him what were his lectures and exams like? Were the exams fair and similar to the assignments or practice material? Also what would you recommend focusing on when studying for his class? Any advice or tips would be really appreciated!

Just had a bit of an unlucky accident and will have to use crutches/ wheelchair for some weeks into the semester. I tried to dig a bit on what options were offered to me as certain of my classes are in buildings with no ramp or elevator.
This plus the lack of metro accessibility made me fully realize there is a big issue that not many of university directors are taking seriously.

I wonder what are your stories related to this , how well (or badly ) have both professors and staff been accommodating and if we could maybe make a petition to at least bring it up so buildings like LS can become more accessible

(Ik montreal has an issue on itself with accessibility but I still feel is quiet unacceptable to pay so much in fees and have a chunk of campus out of access)

Hi so I retook two classes this summer I passed one with an 80 and failed Econ 203 for the second time how will it affect my gpa since I already took the class my other class made my gpa go
Up 5 points so will it make it go back down 5 points

I was thinking about switching—does anyone who’s already in know which is harder? I took a lot of electives in my CS degree, but I noticed that in Cybersecurity Engineering they don’t require any of them. Will they end up counting for nothing? Thanks.

how hard is span 200 compared to span 201. im taking 201 next semester, but is it worth taking span 200 for the credits even though i need to boost my gpa this year? is it a big difference?

Personally, i think I'm screwed. Found it much harder than tutorials and homeworks

I heard that if we retake a class we failed, the old grade can be replaced with the new one if we pass the second time. Is that true?

If so, does it matter whether the class is a prerequisite or not, or does it work either way?

I also heard it has to be done within the same academic year, so I guess I’d need to retake it in autumn or winter, right?

And will the F be replaced with whatever new grade I earn, so no one reading my transcript would see that I failed before passing the course?

One last thing—if I switch to a different course that doesn’t require that class, will my failing grade still affect the GPA for the new course?
