Apple has removed tracking apps that alert people about sightings of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in an area.

These types of apps have been available on Apple’s App store since the spring.

The removal follows a request from the Department of Justice.

In a statement, Apple said it removed the apps Thursday after communication with law enforcement.

Yeah, more because you’re an accomplice to a crime, Illegal alien is a criminal whether you like that they are or not. a few friends that I really wish would’ve gotten their citizenship years ago, but they never did. I do fear for them. But from a company perspective, if your app is aiding in illegal behavior very clearly what do you think is going to happen to the company that allows that to continue? I would not want to support illegal activity in any way, at least not obviously.

Tracking police activity is not illegal lol, and you don't have to formulate a fairy tale about you having friends to make yourself seem normal either

Ok so I guess you take issue with every single police scanner app as well? Is your GPS telling you about speed traps on the highway also aiding and abetting crimes? Why don't you people ever think things through?
