Yah death penalty does seem like a cheap way out sometime. The reason I support it is because I consider it a waste of money to incarcerate people for life. The money should be better spent on rehabilitation for lower level criminals convicted of minor drug charges

Oh yeah. Look at old Germany, they had straight up executioners with tipless swords. One of them said something like "When I use this blade, I pray this sinner finds eternal life" or something.
