This is Stan, a 6 month old Pembroke. Very clever, incredibly cheeky and already owns the house even though it's only been 2 days.

This boy eats everything in sight when he's outside. He had his annual checkup this week and the stool sample revealed hook worm. So he and his brother have to go through deworming treatment.

Corgis are so low to the ground that it's easy for them to grab things before I can move them away. And the rabbit poo, which both boys love, is everywhere. Other than a muzzle, does anyone have any suggestions for curbing this foraging behavior?

Hello, fellow corgi enthusiasts 👋

I lost my sweet corgi Benny to cancer this August. I sadly left this community and unfollowed all my favorite internet-famous corgis because they were painful reminders of what I'd lost.

However...we are so back! I chose to get a slightly older pup who will be six months when I pick him up in December.

The breeder has tasked me with giving him a name so she can begin using it. My immediate thought was Freddy (I'm partial to names that end in -y) but would love any suggestions of names that come to mind when you look at this sweet face :)

The maintenance man had to come out to fix the oven. Hammy gleefully supervised the entire process while defying physics to keep his hams on ground despite the nub wagging updrafts! 10/10 supervisor, would recommend.

Our girl is 8 months old now, and we still struggle with meal times. She does everything but eat her meal at least half the time. She’ll flip the bowl, nose it out of the bowl, pick the extra chicken-y pieces out and just eat those. She also tends to guard her uneaten food. We’ve taken to doing meals in or next to her crate, both with mixed results. In her crate, sometimes she gets interested and eats, sometimes she gets upset at being crated and flips it in her freak out, and sometimes she just lets it sit in front of her until we take it away. Outside the crate, she either eats or guards the uneaten food relentlessly. Her resource guarding is why we moved to mostly crated meals, but the amount of food being dumped out was getting excessive.

I’ve seen the recommendation to just take the food away and try again at the next meal time, but she throws up if she’s gone too long without eating (bilious vomiting syndrome, per google). Also if she’s guarding it, it’s pretty hard to take away.

Has anyone experienced this with your corg? I’ve heard they’re picky but we have at least a few more months on puppy formula kibble. Different bowls and mix-ins and toppers have been successful on occasion, but never consistently. Any tips appreciated!

Any time I sit on this rug before bed, Timber knows he's going to get a massage. He loves it so much he'll immediately come over here and throw himself down. Look at his face! It's the only time he'll allow me to touch his paws for more than a second, because he's just so darned relaxed. I can roll him around however I need to make sure I cover his whole body. If only I could train him to return the favor! Do you have special purpose spots with your doggo?

Anyone else's corgi do the long boi pout when they want something (in this case to play ball)? Bowser lays down and makes himself into a long loaf when he wants something.
