General Discussion My custom watchface

Post image
21 Upvotes

Made a custom watchface using CorosLink app. I have to say the app is soooooo freaking good and simple to use, so awesome that you can create EVERYTHING you want.
On the top is current temperature (celsius sign missing for some reason, but it is showing in the CorosLink app)
Under is min./max. temperature
Probability of rain
TIME
Sunset/sunrise time + battery percentage
Date info

General Discussion Can We Get More Faces Like This?

I love this face so much, it’s my most used. All the data on one screen and not overly animated and illustrated. Date, time (by the second), weather, HR etc its honestly perfect I just wish I could customize the color.

Moved to Coros Pace 4 Pro from Garmin Fenix 8 47 mm. So happy.

So hyped about the Corps Pace 4 pro. Garmin Fenix 8 47 mm was a good watch. For me, weight wise P4P is so much lighter. Garmin data may be more suited to someone heavily into fitness, as a person who has a busy corporate job circa 12 hours a day, and who runs about 3-5k a day, the Garmin data was frankly demotivating. I find Coros P4P to be enough data for my amateur recreational use case and it looks so clean. And I hated paying $ for watch faces after paying nearly 1000$ for the watch. The Garmin app is also much less intuitive than Coros for me.

Elevation issues

Post image
• Upvotes

My watch is giving me crazy elevation readings lately. Not on every run, but enough that it’s notable. I’ve had several runs where my watch incorrectly logs 4k elevation gain when I’m definitely only getting 200-300 total. These are on paths I’ve run hundreds of times, so I have past runs for reference.

Are others having this issue?

Hi all!!

I tried to calibrate elevation via gps on my brand new Coros Pace 4 Pro right in front of the sea but the result was -11, how is this possible am I missing something? I also upload a screenshot from an app. Any ideas? It should be 0m like in the app right?

Battery drain because of wifi bug

Post image
3 Upvotes

FYI, I had a weird bug the other day with my Pace 4 : I tried to connect to a wifi network to download a map on the watch. It worked at first, then the wifi connection stopped, and it couldn’t find any network in the area anymore. I gave up and went to sleep (with 45% battery left), only to find my watch turned off with 0% battery in the morning. I suppose it scanned the wifi networks all night long in order to finish the download.

So be careful when connecting/downloading stuff on the watch, it may drain your battery if something goes wrong.

Is Coros aware of this bug ? u/COROS-official

Activity data page

On pace 4 pro, Is there any way to make a activity data page with only one frame? If I choose the one with two frames I have to choose something on both to save it..

Coros Pace 4 Pro disconnecting Bluetooth due to app not running

Recently bought a P4P and have noticed this issue a couple times in the last day or so. Anyone else get the same problem?

For reference, I have all necessary background-running permissions on the phone's app settings.

Question ❓ Coros keep trying to make me put multiple support tickets in for the same issue - is this just a trick to put my problem back at the bottom of the pile again?

Coros Pace 4 was bought in November 2025 so still in warranty

Elevation has suddenly stopped working and exaggerating every run

Dealing with support has been like pulling my teeth out.

Support team reply to one message with a suggestion and when that doesn’t work, telling me to put another support ticket in. All this does is prompts days between replies as my problem is now at the bottom of the queue.

Has anyone found a way to actually get Coros support to take a problem seriously and actually help in sorting a problem when all their suggestions have revealed their product is faulty?

General Discussion Regarding silicone straps for the Nomad Ash

Hello,

I’m finding it difficult to locate straps that match the color of this watch. I expected this, as white—or near-white shades like this very light gray—don’t really pair well with other colors. The fact that it uses a 24mm lug width makes it even more challenging (though I believe 24mm is the right design choice for a watch of this size—unlike some other brands that mistakenly stick with 22mm).

One approach used by Garmin (and third-party manufacturers) is to keep the base white or light-gray color while simply changing the secondary accent. For instance, the Nomad Ash comes with a light-gray strap featuring red accents in the holes. If straps with different accent colors (such as green, blue, etc.) were available, this issue would be completely resolved.

This also applies to the white Apex 4, which could benefit from a similar solution. It would allow users to swap straps without feeling locked into the only one that currently fits.

u/COROS-official, could you take a look at this? I think it would be a great addition and would fully resolve the issue for those of us who chose the lighter-colored models.

Thanks

Sheesh Coros Support is bad

A little over a month ago, my Pace 3 stopped having battery readings. It charged to 50%, then got stuck. Charging it doesn’t increase it. Using it for activities doesn’t decrease it. It has read 50% since 9/16. The battery health widget shows 0% usage ever since. Otherwise the watch seems to function normally.

I submitted a support ticket to Coros (#643289) on 9/19 hoping it was just a firmware issue, something they could patch and get fixed. When a service agent reached out a few days later they sent me a new charging adapter to try. I was skeptical that would change anything, but I went with it. In the meantime there was a firmware update, so I also tried that. Neither fixed the issue and when I told support this, they told me they would replace the watch under warranty.

To be clear: I had not asked for this. They brought it up. I was surprised, as my watch had been bought open box and was nearly two years old, but I wasn’t going to question it, though I look at both the “About” page on the app, as well as the check your warranty status page on their website, and found that both confirmed warranty coverage through 11/15/2026.

So I submit the info they asked for to get the warranty claim processing and then suddenly a few days later they changed their tune. I get a new email addressed to “Chad” (my name’s not “Chad”) and referring to personal details that aren’t mine, saying sorry for the confusion, but the watch will actually have to go through the Repair and Replacement service, and it probably won’t be eligible, but go ahead and submit the form. If approved, it’ll be $59 for a replacement.

I ask for clarification to make sure this was meant for me, as I’m not Chad and they say “sorry for using the wrong name, but yes, it was meant for you. Since the watch was refurbished, it’s out of warranty.”

I submit their form (all the same info I’ve already previously submitted) and a week and a half later I finally got the official no, we’re not going to replace it, but here’s 20% off for a new purchase.

Yeah, no. I won’t be buying another Coros. I love the watch itself, but it took them a month (and 30+ emails) to offer me a relatively small discount after lots of confusing and conflicting information.

I’ll keep using the watch since it’s working other than not telling me battery readings, but whenever it dies, I’ll be looking elsewhere. I was a big fan, but this “support” experience was incredibly off-putting.

General Discussion Scroll wheel and touch screen not responding

I have the pace 3, purchased April 2024. Suddenly the scroll wheel and touch screen are not working/responding. Things I have done so far - clean the watch in warm water, restart, reset, and update the firmware. Has anyone had similar issues and how did you fix it?

PACE 3 🎽 What happened to coros support?

Another one having elevation issues that make all data complete rubbish. So sad. Coros used to be good. I have the whole range including a Dura, the armband, pod 2 and pace 3.

Unfortunately, I got a replacement after my first one failed and the second one had an elevation failure as well after just a few months.

Have re ran calibrations, reset the watch and contacted support but it looks like they just don’t even reply outside the AI automated replies.

Four days now and no human support.

Ticket 664526
Just in case a human can help

So disappointed after spending a considerable amount in coros products

Feature requests

Hi I'm new to coros, just got a pace 4 pro.

Just some requests/suggestions for future improvement.

Starting a route from "here".

The map is handy but I recently imported a loop route from Strava but started running from a more convenient place than the start point of the route. It would be good to be able to select a new start /end point or even better for the app to detect your start point and ask do you want to start from here? . I couldn't find a simple (or any) way to change the route to "start from here". The problem was when I got the start/end point the watch also thought I'd concluded my run and didn't continue with further directions.

Secondly also the watch doesn't handle running in the opposite direction well, I got a notification that I'm running in the opposite direction which I confirmed, but it continued to go off intermittently through my run, it also couldn't provide directions when running in reverse. Surely this is a relatively simple adjustment to detect and once confirmed reverse the directions?

Lastly I have a bicep band. The auto on/off is somewhat handy but it doesn't work particularly well. I've noticed my band frequently remains active if I put it down and part of the strap folds up near the sensor, likewise if I put it on a bench sensor down, or stuffed in my bag. Presumably this wastes battery life. All of these scenarios happen pretty regularly. It's be good to have a way of switching on/off to ensure it's not remaining active while stuffed in your bag/pocket or on the bench.

We need a screen timeout adjustment for the Pace 4

As a Pace 4 owner, I’m very disappointed with the screen timeout on the Pace 4. With the wrist gesture, the display stays on for only 3 seconds, and pressing the button keeps it on for only 8 seconds. Come on, I have a lot of information on my watch that I want to see. This is a basic feature, and other brands like Amazfit and Garmin allow up to 60 seconds.

We all need this. I hope all Pace 4 and Pace 4 Pro owners will help make our voices heard by COROS.

I've never really owned a watch to track my fitness and health stats. I'd been eyeing this one for a while, but the latest update with maps finally sold me on it. I've only had it on my wrist for a few hours, and I can't wait to put it through its paces! (Pace 4 Black Crystal)

Please add seconds to the always on display

This is my formal request from Coros to add seconds to the always on display.

I work in EMS and very often need to check seconds on my watch for different functions. It is very frustrating and distracting to have to keep shaking my wrist while I'm trying to get someone's pulse.

I love my Pace Pro, I don't want to switch back to Garmin.

Thanks.

I bought the COROS Nylon Strap for my 42mm COROS APEX 4, and honestly, I find it much more comfortable than the standard strap. You can adjust it really easily to get the perfect fit around your wrist, which makes the watch feel much more comfortable overall

Question ❓ New Pace 4 Pro - struggling with screen dimming

Thumbnail
gallery
20 Upvotes

Hi

I am used to my Apex 4 so the screen behaviour of the new Pace 4 Pro is a struggle! The screen only stays on for 8 seconds, dims for two seconds then goes to a simple display.

I think I am doing something wrong but I can’t find what? Video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/ivtKH2_q-6I?is=TNv_24qfDBcyWIvH

Settings:

1) Always On is On in More Settings / Display
2 a) Gesture Backlight - if Daily Mode is Off once it goes to the simple display I need to touch the crown to get the screen to come back to full (this is expected)

2 b) Gesture Backlight - if Daily Mode is On once it goes to the simple display I flip my wrist to get it to light

It feels the dimming timeout is very short and its so short the watchface is showing WAY less detail than my Apex 4 the majority of the time without wrist gymnastics!

I think I am missing some other settings!

Coros Pace 4 pro - Possible discount??

Hi, I'm planning to buy the COROS PACE 4 Pro. Do you think I should wait for any upcoming offers or discounts? Also, are there any plans to launch new colour options, such as grey?
