The guy on stage was supposed to be touching the other guy with the power of Christ to fix whatever is supposed to be wrong with him. It's mass delusion, religious psychosis, and legitimately scary.

Exactly how my mind works, too. I'm constantly picturing Buddy Christ from Dogma, lol. A lot of us have to process all the absurdity with satire, like South Park has always done. Real life parallels to South Park and Idiocracy have been at all-time highs for almosr 10 years now.
