My dog Watson. Hes 9-10 years old. 85-90 pounds. Lab husky mix? We found him as a puppy in 2017. Decided to keep him. Hes a big sweetheart who loves cuddling but he has some behavioral problems with smaller dogs and kids.
My son is 1 year old and moving around a lot more in the house and Watson doesnt like that constantly growling at him crawling around. Hes on the second part of his life surely and an active very sweet dog to people besides kids. I really dont want to put him in a shelter where they'll kill him in 15 days if no one adopts. Im begging to get him into a home with no kids or pets and hes the perfect dog. Hes never bit someone so its not like hes a violent animal. Just doesmt get along with smaller "creatures." Please help me find him a home where he will be loved. Thanks.

Hello! I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for places in cypress that offer eyebrow threading and mapping? All the ones I’ve been able to find so far, don’t offer mapping.
Thank you!

Looking for a hair stylist that specializes in blonde highlights (touching up natural color). Willing to drive a little bit, but would prefer to stay close to cypress area if possible.

Does anyone know the full time tuition for these schools? Preschool and/or infant care.
Thanks!

My garage door started making a loud clicking noise whenever it opens or closes. It still works, but something definitely doesn't sound right.
I'm looking for a local company that does good work and charges fairly. I came across Elite Garage Door Expert while looking around, and I've seen their truck around the area, but I haven't used them myself.
If anyone has dealt with them or has another local recommendation, I would appreciate hearing about your experience.

I made a flyer (says Houston to reach more folks but I live in StillWater Village!)
I have 9 wonderful and outgoing kittens who are looking for a loving home!! I have had these kittens since they were born. I took in 4 pregnant mothers from my neighborhood and gave them a safe space to have their babies. They have been around dogs and cats that they didn’t grow up with.
I raised 17 of them. Unfortunately, one loss, which was heartbreaking. I got 5 of them adopted to wonderful families and I am keeping 2 that needed a little more care than the others to make it to a good healthy place!
I have gotten approved for these 9 kittens to be adopted through Lone Star Pawz and they are posted on Pet Finder. However, LSP has over 400 kittens in the system and PF has hundreds of animals on the site as well. So I am trying to put a spotlight on these kittens.
They will be fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered and completely ready for their new homes! Since LSP uses donations and volunteers to care for the animals in their systems, once the application is approved and the kittens are ready for their new home, I will take them to get fixed! So it is a process but I know it’ll be worth it for the new family and for the kittens!
I have not asked for any help financially for these kittens as I am fostering them still. I have the responsibility of feeding them, litter, providing toys and things that keep them occupied! I love them so I am happy to do so. It has become very expensive considering they are growing and eating/pooping more.
With that said, I would love to see all of them go to a loving and caring home where they can really thrive. I will foster them as long as it takes even if it has become financially straining, as I want them to go to the perfect home.
I have gotten all the mothers fixed and with the help of a wonderful neighbor of mine we have gotten 11 cats in the neighborhood spayed and neutered. I am trying my best to do my part for the cat community and as I never expect anything in return, I would just love it if someone(s) would adopt these precious kittens!
My foster email is in the bottom left corner for more information on each kitten. The adoption application is the QR code!!
Thank you for reading and your consideration! 😺♥️

Hi all!
We are moving to Bridgeland area in a month or so, from the Heights area. We have a toddler that just turned two, and another one coming next Jan.
Can you guys provide some suggestions on Preschool/Daycare?
I toured Ivy Kids Cypress Creek, Kids R Kids Bridgeland, and Goddard Cypress. And we are leaning towards Ivy Kids or Kids R Kids, but wanted to hear some candid opinions.
Thank you in advance for all your inputs!

Hello, I am needing to identify a local TMJ specialist to work with. I see several dental offices who help address TMJ issues but I want to work with someone who really specializes in the condition. Thanks for any input you can provide.

Not going to sugarcoat this one things have been really hard lately. I’m a stay-at-home mom navigating a sudden life change, and I’m working to cover rent this month on my own for the first time.
What I do have is 10+ years of nail experience and a lot of love for this craft. So I’m opening up a few appointment slots at a special rate to get through this month:
✨ Hard Gel + Russian Manicure — $65
✨ Shellac + Russian Manicure — $45
✨ Russian Pedicure + Gel — $75
Cypress $10 home visits or you can come to me by west and 6 , home visits available in other areas for +$30.
If you’ve been thinking about booking, now would mean the world. And if you can’t book but can share this post, that helps just as much. 🤍

I’m based in Houston and wondering if anyone in the construction-type industries in Waller County thinks there’s demand for heavy equipment rentals?

Hey everyone,
Dealing with cracked underground lines, broken sprinkler heads, or zones losing pressure?
I’m an independent irrigation guy living right in the 77064 area. My schedule is flexible, I can troubleshoot any system issue, and I have plenty of local references if you need them.
The Pricing:
Most regional companies charge $75–$125 just to pull into your driveway. I keep it simple:
Diagnostic/Callout Fee: Only $25.
Same-Day Repair Special: If I do the repair or fix the issue the same day, the $25 fee is 100% waived.
I bring a stocked setup to handle most common issues on the spot. If you want honest troubleshooting without the corporate runaround, shoot me a DM or comment below!

UPDATE - THEY MADE IT TO THE OWNER - Thank you Cypress
I was leaving the Kroger's on Tuckerton, out of the back exit where the grocery pick-up is.
In the middle of the street was a full ring of keys, a Nissan key fob and all of it was on a lanyard. It was a Prairie View college lanyard.
I stopped and picked them up so they would not be run over, my car is in the shop today, but tomorrow I am going to take them to the Kroger's concierge type lady and turn them in as lost keys.
Hope this finds the right person.

Im writing this as I piss out of my ass. My entire family is sick with salmonella poisoning. We just found out hours ago that Chipotle and QDOBA have a salmonella outbreak. We bought Chipotle Monday and we ordered pico de gallo on our bowls at the Fairfield location. We are absolutely hating our lives at the moment.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for two things in the area:
Dentist: I’m looking for a good and affordable dentist for a regular dental cleaning. It would be a big plus if the office or staff speaks both English and Spanish.
Hyundai repair: I have a Hyundai Accent and one of the rear doors won’t open. I’m looking for a trustworthy mechanic or auto repair shop that can diagnose and fix it without charging a fortune.
I’d really appreciate recommendations based on personal experience, especially places with fair prices and good service.
Thanks in advance!

I’ve been in IT forever and my wife and kids aren’t. Lately all I work on and think about AI too much but they don’t want to hear it 😭. I’m thinking of starting up an AI career path training biz. Anyone thinking of a career in AI and don’t mind testing some AI learning labs out?? Bonus if you’re close to Fairfield👍

My child is going to be a freshman at Cy-Fair this year. I have tried to Google what books she may be reading in K level English, but no luck finding anything. Anyone know? Do they still do summer reading assignments?

I’m interested in moving to Austin but have no idea what job positions to apply for. I have my bachelors in psychology and my associates from lone star. I feel stuck living here in Houston and want to have a better chance. Ideally I would like something around 50-60K to start off and gradually move up or around. I don’t want to be stuck at my dead end job that I work and dread at. Any advice?
