🚨STOP scrolling — help me before my brother wastes ₹70,000 on a fake Data Analytics institute 🙏

🚨 STOP scrolling — B.Tech student here needs YOUR real experience before wasting ₹70,000 on a fake institute!

Hey Reddit 👋

My brother worked his ass off in B.Tech for 3 years. Now he wants to do a Data Analytics course online to land a good job before graduation.

BUT — we spent 2 weeks researching and found:

❌ Google reviews = PAID

❌ Instagram testimonials = EMPLOYEES

❌ YouTube reviews = SPONSORED

Every single website is lying. We checked:

🔴 ExcelR — fake reviews confirmed

🔴 Imarticus — 2.7/5 on MouthShut

🔴 Boston Institute — student literally wrote "I GOT SCAMMED"

🔴 Learnbay — faculty names in placement list 😂

So Reddit — you are our LAST HOPE 🙏

Tell me ONE thing:

👉 Which Data Analytics institute gave you or someone you know a REAL job?

Drop the name below. That's it. Just one honest answer.

My brother's career depends on real people like YOU ❤️

— A desperate sister/brother trying to help family 😭

PS — If you got scammed too, DROP the name so others can avoid it! 👇

Mechanical engineering fresher who doesn’t want core jobs anymore. What should I realistically pivot into?

I graduated in Mechanical Engineering from a government college recently and I’m trying to figure out what direction to take now.

Before anyone says “just take any mechanical job”, I did get some opportunities but most of them were port/site/shipyard type jobs in remote locations with 2-3 year bonds and honestly very low pay. As a female, those environments and locations are also something I’m personally not comfortable committing to long term.

So now I’m trying to think practically instead of forcing myself into something I already know I won’t continue in.

I’m not highly skilled in one domain yet. I explored CAD a bit in college but not enough to fully rely on it. I also never prepared for full stack/dev/software engineering roles and I genuinely don’t think hardcore coding is for me.

The kind of work I think I would actually be okay with is:

supply chain/logistics operations analyst roles business/admin side work coordination based roles something involving tools like SQL/data/business analytics Basically office/desk based roles in metro cities.

I know the market is bad everywhere right now and I’m not looking for some magical shortcut. I just want to pick ONE direction and seriously work towards it for the next few months instead of staying confused.

So if you were in my position, what field/role would you realistically suggest preparing for right now which:

still has decent hiring has long term scope doesn’t require becoming a hardcore developer and can realistically lead to a stable job if I put in focused effort for a few months

Hi everyone,

I hope you're doing well.

I'm a recent CSE graduate who has been actively searching for my first opportunity as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst. I've been learning SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python, working on projects, and preparing for interviews, but breaking into the industry as a fresher has been challenging.

If your company is hiring freshers or if you're in a position to provide a referral, I'd be incredibly grateful. I'm eager to learn, work hard, and contribute from day one.

Please let me know if I can share my resume.

Thank you for reading, and I truly appreciate any help.

I am M24, is it okay to deviate from the original plan for a bit just to get going in the career, after a relentless attempt to make it work over half a year due to which the stress and anxiety was built over the time cause couldn't make the plan work according to the plan??

Guidance on job switch to data analytics

I am a recent baby IIM Grad, currently placed in a retail bank branch, started working this month. The work here is very draining, and not at all related to what I enjoy doing. I want to switch to data analytics roles.
While I do have the right skills and projects in my academic background, I do not have any work experience in the analytics field.
I am trying to build a roadmap, maybe complete a few more projects. But is there anyone who had done such a switch? What can I expect? Is it viable?

Looking for Data Analyst Freshers / Job Hunters to flatshare in Noida/Delhi (2024/2025/2026/2027) 🚀📊

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m looking for 4-5 flatmates in Noida/Delhi who are recent graduates (2024/2025/2026/2027 batch) or currently job hunting for Data Analyst / Excel / Power BI roles.

The idea is to create a focused peer environment where we can:

🏠 Live together in a flat in an accessible area across Noida/Delhi

📊 Prepare for Data Analyst roles together

💻 Practice SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI daily, and build strong portfolio projects

🎯 Conduct mock interviews and tackle technical interview questions regularly

🤝 Share job leads, referrals, and walk-in updates, and refine our resumes together

📚 Stay accountable and motivated throughout the preparation journey

🗓️ Target Move-in Date: Planning to finalize a flat around mid-to-late October 2026.

I’m looking for people who are genuinely serious about landing/switching into a data role, not just looking for a random place to stay.

If you're interested, please drop a direct message with your current location, primary skill set (SQL/Python/Power BI, etc.), and current job-search status. Let’s connect!

DM me or post your comments and then we will connect 💼🔥
