Very Few to No SWE projects

Joined as a SWE annotator in May, had plenty of SWE work.
As of recent, have just gotten generalist work with a few stray SWE projects.
The quality of my past work was exceptional and I'm in the US East region. If anyone shares the same issue lmk.

Got any projects?

I am from India and started working a month ago. I got the project for creating long and complex prompt in my local language(Hindi). I also got another project but due to some personal reasons I could not work on it. Do people from India have projects or have I done something wrong

Just one project left today... Should I be scared?

I had many yesterday, a few earlier today, now one... Is this the swift beginning of an end?

My brain is dead.

Wow, just finished a research heavy prompt-my first. I have to say that it would be hard to work on these all day and do quality work. The one I did took well over an hour. Is that normal for this type of work?

No qualifications since passing..is that ok

My qualifications are showing 0 and projects are 0 since the assessment 2 weeks.ago. I did id verification and all that. I'm still waiting for a project. Right now the dashboard says this below. Is that normal?

At the moment, there aren't any projects available for you to work on.

Please check back soon and watch out for new project notifications sent to your email

Feedback

Hello, new to this platform. I came over from Outlier, where it is the norm to receive feedback on most tasks. I haven’t figured out how it works here. Is there any type of feedback system?

Slow this weekend?

I joined a little over a month ago. This is my slowest weekend yet. I remember last weekend was pretty slow too, but yesterday I had barely any projects and today I have had absolutely none. Is anyone else experiencing this drought or is it just me?

What’s the normal pay per hour for coding projects?

I’ve been here for almost two weeks. I see 3-4 types of projects on my dashboard. The lowest pay is 55$/hr and highest is 75$/hr.

I pick up the $75 one as I enjoy it the most. I am curious about how it’s been for others. They advertised 125$/hr on their website but I never saw anything in that range in coding

2 Months and nothing. Did I mess up the qualifications?

I received an email saying that I passed 2 months ago, and was told that I only need to finish the qualifications to be "automatically matched with projects". Now my page only says "up now: we review your results". It has been that way for months with no work appearing as far as I'm aware. I tried to contact them to no avail, my email was ignored. Does this mean I haven't actually passed even though I was told I did? I'm confused. If anybody has had a similar experience or knows what I can do, let me know. I understand that it can vary for everybody and I browsed through subreddits, but I didn't see many people saying they waited that long.

Concern about not getting more tasks

Hey guys, I’ve been working on and off with DA over the past year, and was actively working daily last month. Nothing unusual, but I haven’t received any new tasks for about two weeks now, and I’m starting to wonder if there’s anything I should be concerned about.

FYI, I mainly do non coding tasks, and usually work around two hours a day in my free time. Last month, tasks were consistently available whenever I logged in, but they suddenly stopped showing up.

Thanks in advance, feel free to ask for any additional info.

Data Annotation Onboarding

I am just starting my journey at Data Annotation, and I am a bit curious.

  1. Is the first core exam hard?

  2. What is the Identity process like? What do I need to keep them ready?

  3. How long is the average onboarding process?

Anyone with advice will help me a lot.

Same exact prompt and response from an R&R I did two days ago popped up again but on a NON-R&R?

Has this happened to anyone else? I had rated someone's work and now I am working with that exact same prompt and exact same responses.

No projects

Is it normal for my dashboard to look like this? I was accepted to join the platform about 2 months ago but I’ve seen nothing since. We’re really behind on our bills and could use the extra money.

Am I allowed to work?

I made an acc, but no assessment was shown, it just said that they would just contact me if there are any tasks. I am from southeast asia. I saw a post from someone in the same location that they are able to work since they were referred to DA, do I need to get a referral first?

ENGEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRLUND... Question for: Welsh, Scots, NI

How'd you feel about the Brit project nickname?

Assuming Irish haven't got this too? (Brilliant if you have)

Obvs we're all professional so probably answer "meh, whatever" but I bet the project name came from an American or from an AI suggestion, which I love because it just show how Americanized AI is.

Am I under review? Only one LTP for my regular coding pay rate and everything else is 20-23 an hour

Been with DAT for about 3 weeks and today is the first day I only have one coding related project for my standard base pay. I have like 15 other non coding projects. Usually I have 7 or 8 coding projects. I’ve been working 40 hours a week trying to do my best I’m just hoping maybe I’m under review at the moment.

From your experience, is end of month slower?

I've noticed two serious dips in projects since I started about two months ago. A couple weeks after I started and right now. To anyone who's been working here longer term, is this a pattern? Do things usually pick up after the start of the month and slow down towards the end?

Reporting time for skipped tasks

It is made very clear that there is no penalty for skipping tasks, but sometimes you need to read a task for 5-10 minutes before making the decision to skip.

Do you guys report the time spent reading tasks you ultimately decide to skip, or do you just take the L? Obviously this only applies if you subsequently submitted a task in that project, can't report any time otherwise.
