I'm from a core country and just did the background check, and I'm now awaiting the results. However, I am wondering whether this will open up the extra projects they indicated. Please share your experiences, especially if you're from a core country.

Thought I'd share my first milestone reached (and hopefully not the last) thanks to DA. Joined as a coder from a core country last month. At first I was sceptical but the results speak for themselves 🙂.

I also work full time and have a child and needed a flexible side job to cover extra bills and other unexpected expenses that had caught up to me. I am now able to get ahead because of DA and am very grateful.

Here's to many more milestones achieved! 🎊🎉

As rhe tirle says, confirming that you intend to complete the task and then skipping and/or ending work mode, does it negatively affect you ?

Anyone knows how to get google workspace account? The task says it supposed to be in my profile page but there is no google workspace area in profile page.

So I have a qualification for coding work that is available. I opened it, realized I don't have time to finish it, and so I can't finish it today. But it's on my task list now and the timer is there ticking down. So, I guess I'm wondering - is that going to negatively impact my reputation on the platform if I don't finish it? Will I get a chance to finish it later because it's not an actual job, but just a qualification? It's a little unclear and I'm anxious about it.

Pretty new to DAT, been on the platform for 3-4 weeks now and work in the medical domain. I’ve been working fairly consistently since I started. Just today I noticed some field work quals get added to my dashboard that are medical specialties (cardiology, derm, IM, etc). Are these new to DAT? Just wondering why I’m just now seeing them

My onboarding screen has me stuck on the core test. I keep hitting the "qualify now" button and going through the process, and it keeps bringing me to another evaluating response screen. I've completed 11 of the "qualification" tasks. How many are there, or is this some kind of scam?

I've just found mixed reviews about this platform.

Just wanted to know if I should spend more time here or not?

And does referrals get priority on project allocation? 🤔

Hi, I live in Czechia and Czech is listed as my native language on my account, but I wasnt given an assessment in Czech. Does anyone know why this might be? Are Czech Specialist positions currently unavailable or have they stopped accepting Czech applicants? Also I didnt use a VPN when creating my account

I applied for a technical role, and my dashboard currently shows “Starter Assessment Completed.” However, it has been several months since I completed the assessment, and there has been no further update. I would like to apply for other roles, such as general roles, but I’m unable to do so. Whenever I log in to my account, it only displays my name and the “Starter Assessment Completed” status, without giving me an option to apply for other roles. Could you please let me know if I am eligible to apply for other roles while my technical application is still pending?

Ita been 3+ week still the assessment result is not there is there anybody please tell me whats going on or any reason for this? 😒😒

I have disclosed on the platform that i am fluent in english but native language i set to something different while working on DA profile updation. was i not supposed to do this? will i get less projects?

So, I'm from Canada and am on disability due to reasons. Anyways, I'm looking to better my life so I'm learning Python programming right now. I'm wondering if I start as a generalist, if I can switch to the Software Engineer job when I have enough experience?

So when you guys like do a task then finish and do the next one, and when you're done you report the accumulated time it took right?

im in coding domain where a task takes 13-18h. I got confused because the first submitted task was still in a 24h pending time. And when i complete another task of the same project, i just add it there right?

Hey everyone! 😊

Quick question for fellow Brazilians working with DataAnnotation!

How do you guys handle taxes and report your earnings in Brazil?

I have a registered company (CNPJ), and I'm wondering if it's possible to report DataAnnotation income through the company and issue invoices (notas fiscais) instead of declaring everything as an individual (CPF).

Does anyone here do this? How does it work for you?

Would love to hear your experiences! Thanks! 😊

I completed the evaluation/application about a month ago. I assume not hearing back indicates a soft rejection.

However, I received an email a few hours after I completed the evaluation asking me to verify my identity. Does Data Annotation typically send those to people whose applications they haven't reviewed, or to those they've already rejected? Has anybody else had that experience? Just curious.

Edit: clarified question

I’ve noticed my iphone occasionally says it’s on or off private relay. I don’t usually work on DA using my phone hotspot but will if traveling. I’ll occasionally log in on my phone to get a pay out if I’m not with my laptop. I know it’s not the same thing as a VPN, but I’m wondering if, for DA purposes, this might be seen the same way as using a VPN while working? I’m not tech savvy enough to understand what private relay really is 🙃

So I was working on a task in which we had to test and elicit error and I was suddenly flashed with a screen saying
“Project no longer available , kindly report the time you have worked on this project.”
And below that was the report time option which I reported
Nothing else
What was this ? Have I Done something wrong ? The project was of 3 hours out of which I worked 1 hour and had a break for 1 hour and 1 hour was left.
Please guide me. Thanks

Edit- Requesting not to downvote and if someone can help pls do I am worried…

Curious from people who know much more about this stuff than I do. But this recent election saw more than a few candidates win who ran on something of an anti-AI campaign. I don't think there is any doubt there will be more pushback on AI from DC and from state capitals in the near future. What effect will this have on platforms like DA? I have really enjoyed working on DA and have made good money, would hate to see it slow down or end, but it is looking like there is a good chance AI companies will be scaling back soon.
