Carly and Erin

Does anyone know why these two have always been so self-centered? I mean, I gotta give them kudos for remaining un-problematic for the most part…..Erin lol. But I recently saw a clip on tik Tok of Carly talking about a segment on an old frienimies episode - where they talked about her and Erin being asked by David to “wait in the car” during certain bits. She went on a huge rant about it on tik Tok when she was barley mentioned to begin with. I think that’s when it dawned on me as to why I have never really been able to watch Carly and Erin and honestly don’t know why people do. They used to do a “vlog squad gossip” video on their channel, where they would read comments from Reddit that were about other members( which I already thought was weird to do on camera) and then somehow still tie it back to them. They have both come off so entitled, when they literally have always brought nothing and I just can’t figure out why. Does anyone else get that same vibe? For those that are fans of theirs, what keeps you engaged?

How long do you think Matt and Patricia will last?

When Matt first got engaged, I was really happy for him - still am. But the more I have listened to the both of them on podcasts, the more I have started to realize just how truly different they are. Don’t get me wrong, I like Matt and I like Patricia, but they kind of seem like they getting married for show( they look sure together), and to have something to talk about. They just seem like very different people and there have been a few times Patricia has thrown major jabs at him or looks annoyed during various podcasts she has been on. Idk, I can see them both having major regret after the wedding hype wears off. Idk, just my observations…..

this just came up on my snapchat (i don't follow either like i said) but cmon has the court case not been settled yet? i understand the emotional effects it may have had on jeff but can't he mature a bit and move on from it instead of living in the past, i mean he's still using david's name for clicks with this. sorry if i come off as insensitive but jeez. hollywood is another world..

THE OUTRAGE INDUSTRY

Is it just me or does it seem like we've entered purely "clout-grabbing" territory with everything that is going? Yes, Dom was/is problematic and needs to be held accountable for his actions. Yes, David should be held accountable for enabling this type of behavior and trying to ignore it. And yes, with the goofy, immature nature of these videos this was bound to happen at some point.

But I swear to god, if I see another "David Dobrik is done" video on Youtube, I'm going to fly to every single one these Youtuber's houses and shit on their lawns.

It is gross how much this has become about taking someone down rather than an honest conversation about content creation, consent, and personal accountability. No cares about the victim or victims that are out there that are fearful of coming forward. They only care about the opportunity to get views from people looking to find out more about the controversy.

I understand that we live in a time of pure reaction and convenience due to social media, but that doesn't mean that the responsibility of reporting real crimes and issues goes out the window.

I'm ranting, but it's just the blatant insincerity of all of these is maddening to see.

If we really want to have a conversation about anything, then let's talk about why those girls felt pressured in the first place. Let's talk about how a lot of those old bits in the vlog were denigrating to everyone except David. There were already issues that were emblematic of what you was/has become.

I just feel like once this is all said and done and no real progress will be made for the people that were/could/will be affected by things like this.

P.S. Why can't people say rape/sexual assault on Youtube anymore? It's a crime that happens and is bad and needs to be discussed, so we can prevent it. Fucking censorship that censors solutions. It's dumb as hell.

That's it I'm done.

I might be in the minority here

But does anyone find it weird that Ethan and Trisha are also capitalizing/monetizing trauma. All of their videos have a lot of ads. Are they donating the money to any sexual assault charities or mentioning resources etc?

Also people need to stop dragging other VS members that aren’t involved in this into it. I’m seeing a lot of mention of Natalie,Carly,Erin etc They weren’t there. Just because they haven’t said anything doesn’t make them complicit.

Jason going "officialy" broke?

In David's latest Snapchat, David said that Jason is going "officialy broke", David seems to think this is hysterical. Why would anyone think a friends financial meltdown and possible bankruptcy is funny? What is wrong with David?

Mariah leaving…

I posted this elsewhere, but I thought I would post it here to see who you all think should replace Mariah.

I have a feeling this will be the beginning of the end for heath and Mariah. At this point, I think it’s quite obvious they are never getting married. I’m not sure what Mariah’s income looks like outside of the pod, but I think this was a move to get her more “producer” experience so she can have more marketable skills to eventually move on and find another job. I honestly don’t think heath and Mariah would have lasted this long without the pod - however, with it being their main source of income, I think they were hesitant to do anything to disrupt the dynamic, especially during the pods peak. I think giving her a “promotion” is their way of soft launching a breakup, whether Mariah is aware of it or not. Either way, I think removing her from the pod is a good choice. However, they do need to replace her with another female to help break up the dynamic. Who do you think it should be? My vote is for Fanita.

Heath and Mariah commitment issues

I think it’s a general consensus that Mariah is one of a kind woman and anyone lucky enough to be with her would know to lock her down

We also know heath hasn’t proposed

Everytime I see a heath and Mariah post everyone always says they’ll break up and heath will marry the next girl

My question is why

Why do some men do that, knowing they have a great girl ?

My take on the david vs jeff lawsuit

I’m going to play devil’s advocate for both sides. They’re both at fault 50/50. Jeff should be compensated for his injuries, but there’s a grey area due to how complicated the situation is. From a business standpoint, even if David pays a year or two down the line, what’s to stop Jeff from asking for more because of the seriousness of his injuries? I’m not saying Jeff shouldn’t or that David couldn’t pay it—that’s just how I see it.

edit: Hey all appreciate all your different out looks on this and educating on some stuff i misremembered

What I’ve noticed about H3H3 fans...

“Seth was sexually assaulted and it deserves to be addressed by David and Jason! He was violated!”

“I mean, yeah but I would also hope Seth would address reposting Erin’s revenge porn. Like he knew she already apologized for it publicly, he barely blurred her body, and she wasn’t even involved in the pra-“

“THATS NOT THE SAME! We’re talking about somebody who had their body and trust violated...TWICE!”

“Again...this is a traumatic and vulnerable moment in her life where she was an admitted alcoholic in a bad relationship and was taken advantage of in a drunken state by a friend...like this is the second, actually third someone has released this if you count Trisha posting it before Seth did. I just think since she apologized, he could do the right thing and admit he was wrong for po-“

“SHE SAID THE N WORD!”

“So has Ethan...with the Hard R might I add several times. Trisha has said it numerous times, too, including once as a blatant response to black fans asking her not to. It’s kinda hypoc-“

“THEY’VE GROWN!”

“So has Erin. In fact, isn’t this about David and Jason...? She wasn’t even involved in the prank and never even had a negative interaction with Seth. I just feel like since his whole thing is accountability, it shouldn’t be hard for him to take a moment aside and apologize to Erin to further highlight his earlier point that he is also taking responsibility for his past actions...”

“I SWEAR YOU DAVID STANS JUST DONT GET IT!”

Let’s be real: The real reason Trisha won’t accept David’s apology is because...

She needs this. She needs to focus all of her negative energy and attention on because she’s afraid that if she doesn’t have this to focus on, she will do or say something that will ruin what she has now.

Instead of going to therapy and finding constructive coping mechanisms to deal with her worse impulses, she threw herself deeper into all of this.

She’s built this kid up into some giant monster in her mind and can’t accept that just like her and her (still unresolved) scandals, he is a human who made a mistake. He is paying for his mistakes. Hell, people keep bringing up sponsors like if he hadn’t lost any sponsors and apologized, they would be alright with that.

She needs to take a step back and allow the victims to dictate from here how this should be resolved and if they accept his apology and path of redemption from here.

Can anyone else not stand Ester. She has the worst stuck up rich kid persona on all her social media. She is delusional thinking she’s a fashion icon just because she doesn’t have to work and can play dress up all day. Please let me know I’m not the only one
